Don't know how the Power Rack is exactly designed, but on the non-powered Toaster there's a Cabinet Button within the stack section. Turn it off and lock it. This way the cab-sim is disabled for all outputs and (because it's locked) for all profiles you'll load.

You're welcome.

Turn the Browse Knob within the Peformance Mode and NOT within the Browse Mode. If you've found the rig you want to store into a performance, press load and it's there.

My active cab was about 980 Euro, shipping included.

I don't give a shit about Buckethead, cause my eyes are only on the girl's legs...

The dropbox kipr files are 36kb big instead of the 4kb
There's a difference in file size depending on how you download the file. Right click --> save target as = bigger than 4kb. Left click --> download = 4 kb! This happened to me with other kipr-files too (can't remember which). -

Very simple setup here: Music Man Luke II, KPA, Atomic CLR powered cab, Roland FC-300.

Not sure if I get your question right, but in latch mode the control pedal acts like a normal switch (first step = on, second step = off). In momentary mode you step on the pedal and the assigned effect is on for the time the pedal is pushed down. Step off the pedal and the effect is off. This is great for short licks within a song.

Excellent profiles. And a fantastic cab as well! Works with all of my favs, no matter if they are clean, crunch or quite gainy. I've been waiting for a cab like this, thanks so much!

I don't own a Pod HD 500, but I think the PC# on it (and on the KPA too) are fixed, you can't change them. That means: 2/A on the HD500 sends PC#5 (Performance 1, Slot 5) and 2/B on the HD500 sends PC# 6 (Performance 2, Slot 1). Did you try that? If it is like I think, the big disadvantage is that the banks on the HD500 will never correspond to the banks on the KPA.

Another way: reamping. This way you can adjust all KPA-effects later to fit the mix properly and you don't have to rely on the effects of your DAW.

In my opinion there are two ways going FOH with a real guitar cab:
1. KPA Monitor Out (Cab off) --> Cab --> Mic --> FOH (this way the audience will hear what you hear on stage)
2. KPA Monitor Out (Cab off) --> Cab / KPA Main Out with a Cab Sim of your choice --> FOH (different sound than on stage)So #1 should be the way to go imho. Third way: FRFR (best way for me).

Ezer's right. You'll find this among the rig Rig Packs:

the emg's just get that high end fizzly sound
I play a Music Man Luke with an EMG 85 in the bridge position and I often use the Studio EQ in X or Mod slot set to -18 dB @ 21.000 Hz. Maybe this helps. -
Don't know if I understand you correct, but from XLR Out to PA you don't need a DI-Box if you're using XLR-cables.
