Which profiles would you guys recommend for a generally nice clean sound? Something that works well with a strat and LP, along the lines of a fender. Currently using the free twin reverb profile

+1 to this! But might be a little tough without the dedicated FS

Works perfectly fine as one! I'm actually using the guitar input into tje flat channel, running everything straight up. At the same time I can plug in my ipod/laptop via the aux in for prac or monitoring my recordings.

Yes they are. Note that to be able to fully utilise all 4 footswitches, you must you stereo cables. Mono cables will only allow you to use 2 footswitches.

Thought I would share this mod that my friend did to my Digitech control seven, into a Digitech control eleven!

The lollar dirty blonde set can handle anything from jazz to blues to funk to rock and hard rock!

Downloaded and tested! It definitely sounds on par with his paid rigs. All the rigs from this rig pack sound pretty damn good.

A Suhr Guthrie Govan model seems to fit the bill for a wide range of genres! too bad he's not with Suhr anymore:/

Hey guys, visited the amp factory's website this morning this morning and noticed that there were some clips available for the amp pack 3. Listened to a few, then I came across the Soldano profile. I was instantly sold, bought it immediately! I thought that all you guys out there need to know how awesome this profile is, it really is the jack of all trades, master of all as well, as and44 mentioned.
Shortly after downloading the profile, I was so amazed by the tone that I was getting, so I got down to creating a quick demo of all the sounds that I like from the Soldano profile. I'm using a 92 LP standard straight into the kemper, monitoring via the Yamaha thr10. The sounds have been tweaked a little to suit my guitar. The first profile you hear is from the crunch+ profile. Full at first, then decided to roll back my vol knob halfway to clean up a little. The high gain profile's basically the od+ profile, maxed out the definition, eq-Ed slightly.
Here's the demo: http://m.soundcloud.com/ian-kwan/kemper-soldano
Hope you guys like it!
*PS: sorry for the sloppy playing, don't do much recordings and put this together without much thought:P

Ok thanks! I'll go ahead with this project and once I'm done I'll show you guys the outcome

I see. So the max I can have is 2 switches? Can I turn the delay and reverb on/off?
-
Hey guys, read that it's possible to use a momentary fs eg.Boss FS6 to control the various stompboxes in the kemper. Do you have to assign the stompboxes to specific switches or are they already pre-assigned? I'm currently using a very basic midi control to switch between patches, the Digitech Control Seven, and am thinking of finding some space to drill some holes in order to include this circuit.

Can't spot the KPA!

Happened to me with not just the gain control, but with other controls as well. but ever since i've updated to OS 1.5, I don't seem to have this problem anymore.
-
Anyone of you guys using this: http://disasterareaamps.com/shop/dmc-6 How are you finding it so far?
-
-
agreed! Well for starters I guess it would be good to upload the latest appendum on the wiki. I liked the way they explained the definition, power sag, clarity, tube bias and tube shape functions.
-
hehe, close call eh. ok will update to fw 1.5 and try out you profile! thanks again:)
-
Cool! What's it called? I'll definitely check it out. One of my fav tones is from 3 sides!
