Oh thanks a lot!
That's gonna be a funny evening! -
-
Thank you for these fine rigs!

I like the KPA more for clean / mid drive but the AxeFX II creates some great heavy tones!
(And it's fun to use my 'old' sounds from time to time)+1000!!!
100% hit of bull's eye!

I'm using a Tascam US-2000 Interface, connected the KPA via XLRs at. The sound is excellent.
But I can confirm that the magic of the KPA that rises when you play it solo for yourself without any other instrument isn't the same when recording into/for a full arranged production. Saying this with the experience of about 25 years of studio producing,
I discovered at lot of profiles that are simple unusable for a proper production because of their lushness in production context. You can't get it right by multiband-compression nor by doubling nor by reamping. So I sorted nearly a thousand profiles out of my stash after detecting this problem.
Since the cleaning my remaining ca. 500 rigs are fine and work dependable in any production - I don't want to miss them (in spite I often have to double tracks to fit the power of modern drums). -
I have discovered the same problem in the past after profiling a rig with a way too high volume. There crackling appears after a minute or so rose constantly and ended in a total freeze of the machine, requiring a reboot.
I guess it was on FW release 1.8 ... or so. Since FW >2.0 I didn't get that problem no more. -
Yeah, can confirm this especially for slot1 (two times the selected and SAVED rig get lost from a SAVED [yes, I pressed the Store-button three times] performance).

The KPA is the best digital guitar box ever!
Don't agree! The KPA is a very good digital guitar box, specially for clean and crunch sounds. But i. e. for heavy rock and metal in studio productions there are better boxes available (Fractal Audios Axes), imo.
Can't hardly live without the KPA, but can't definitly live without the AXE. -
Thanks for your work ... and hint!
-
+1
Really fine profiles, love it!
-
Thank you.
Hope I'll find soon the time to do the ticket ... -
Thanks 4 the info!
-
Thanks alot for your work. I dl'ed a collection of samples to check these profiles out.
-
Perhaps it's not very rare but I would like to have profiles of KOCH amps, any model. The existing profiles of RE/KPA aren't acceptable imo.
-
I just checked out your profiles and I really love them!!!
Can't stop jingling with the gain rigs
Thank you lotta times! -
Being a great fan of FZ I wondered if there's somebody outthere who has made a rig/rigs of his guitar sound?
I worked a while trying to catch it but I'm not yet happy so far.
Would be really nice if someone can open up his Grand Wazoo to share such rigs.
Sounds of any era/song/concert FZ has played will be welcome.
1000 thanks in advance. -
Would be nice, yeah, please!
-
Yeah, also other genres would be fine!

I just checked out your profiles and I like them!
Great work reminding me to good ol' days ...
