that sounds great, just curious have you ever thought of profiling the darkglass b7k, there arent too many great bass profiles available and i think it would be a wothy addition to the KPA owning bass players amongst us.
That is a great idea, once it gets back from repair I will look into it.

Hello Sam,
Can you elaborate on what the problem is? Not sure I understand your "Alternate TRS input" explanation.
My KPA suffers from the problem but for now I don't have a need to use the loop so the repair can wait.Thanks.
Sorry, TRS was the wrong term, I meant the "jack" alternate input, the one next to the XLR. KPA support got me to set up a blank patch with the stereo loop switched on, then plug my guitar into each of the alternate inputs to find which one was faulty, you will hear the massive amounts of clipping/distortion once you plug into the faulty one

Sorry for the bump guys but I think my unit has this issue too
Tried to run my GSP 1101 in the loop and all I got was horrible digital clipping/distortion, trying to isolate the issue, I also ran a tuner pedal in the loop and I got the same problem.
Just to follow up on this: issue lies with the alternate TRS input, Kemper has been sent back for repair. -

The DOLICA GS-350 came in today, and its a perfect fit. I actually had hoped I would have a little extra room, but it has nice sized pockets on the front and sides. All pockets including the main compartment have double flaps, a very nice touch and a little extra comfort if you have to make a short run in the rain. Padding is about what you'll find in a gig bag so you cant throw it around but more than good enough to protect from any bumps loading in and out of places. Very pleased with the purchase as it was quite the bargain compared to the branded bag. I'll take a couple pics of the bag loaded up before rehearsal this weekend.
Good to hear it was successful! I am looking forward to the pictures, I am looking to get a case myself and this looks like a great solution.

I use Audio-Technica ATH-M50.
I researched over at http://www.head-fi.org/ and for my price range they seemed to be the most recommended. I've had them for a couple of months and have no complaints.
I play at night most of the time, so to not disturb the family I must wear headphones so they get plenty of usage.
I use a set of these too, they are an amazingly clear set of studio headphones considering the price.

Thanks everyone
Sam
If this is just messing around I'd like to hear your stuff when you concentrate.
Excellent stuff!
I should have an album coming out later this year if you want to her more, thanks for the kind words!

sounds pretty cool are those profiles in the rig exchange?
so many profiles
Thanks!
The Bogner Shiva and the Mark V are yes, but the 6505 is from the amp factory metal pack -

I got bored again today so I decided to expand on my last idea and record a new Kemper test.
Patches used:
Bogner Shiva for the cleans,
6505 for the Rhythms,
Mark V for the leads,
Darkglass B7K + an Ampeg SVT patch for the bass.Hope you dig
-
Sounds very cool
What rigs did you use?
The first clean at the start is a Bogner Shiva profile.
The second clean is an amp factory JSX clean.
Distorted guitars are an amp factory Krank profile, with some post EQ.Bass is my Darkglass B7K into an ampeg SVT patch, with some DI blended in as well.

Hi guys! I bashed this out earlier today, I wanted to try out some clean and distorted profiles and test out my new song idea

My fav so far are the Krank C3s. Try the C2 and C3 patches but swap their cabs for C1's. That way they will be similar to the C1 patches.
Oh man I did not even think of that, I am clearly still getting my head around what the Kemper can do
Thanks for the tip, I will definitely give it a go.

Why not just get the Thomann case instead? It's made for the kemper.
I had this case sent to USA not expensive at all
I would love the Thomann case, but the shipping is an extra $60 AUD to Australia

Hi all
I recently discovered this beauty from Gator: http://www.gatorcases.com/p/16190-1999/g-tourminihead2
Looks like a great solution for the Kemper, especially for those of us who might have trouble with the cost of getting a Thomann case imported.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the look/build/dimensions?

Bought the metal producers pack last night, loving most of the sounds so far. I tend to like the C1 patches better than the others, but there is plenty of usable stuff
