I did profile my X3 Live for fun actually and result sounded better than Line6 itself
I just plugged Kemper into guitar input of X3 and main out back into Kemper. -
Did you try new feature with parallel chains? It was introduced specially for bass and helps preserving low-end.

Hi, brithedark
Here's my vision of a setup, I'm not sure if you tried this way, please tell me if you did.
I would plug Kemper direct out / send output into DI box instead of guitar, which should be plugged into Kemper front input.
Your sound card definitely should have hardware monitoring abilities. So I would redirect sound interface inputs, which get signals from preamps, to a particular sound card output. This output I would connect to Kemper Return input.
I reckon this way software is not involved, only your sound interface hardware. It might be a problem if all your sound interface outputs are used for monitoring. Then it is an option to extend it or replace with a one with more outputs.
Hope it's helpful by any chance

That's very sad to hear, bro.
Doesn't matter what you do - be happy and get all from your life you can!
See you, pal!

Ok, I must be doing something wrong here. So I am looking to you good folks for suggestions.
...Hi man, I didn't notice in thread if you mentioned what music do you play.
You bought Chimera pack, so I reckon you play metal. If so, most Andy's profiles won't suit you.
I bought from Andy, Armin and Till, I play different styles. Andy makes terrific vintage and rock profiles. Some of TAF profiles I found dull to, but only until you adjust them to your guitar and playing style. For instance, Diezel VH4 profile lacks treble and on the first try I was disappointed, but turning couple knobs changed everything. Now it's my favourite profile for playing live heavy stuff.
I have two guitars: basswood and mahogany. Profiles, which I tweaked for basswood, don't sound good with mahogany one and I have to readjust most of them.
So keep in mind that if amp was setup for profiling with bright guitar, it will sound dull with dark guitar. But Kemper allows incredible controls for adjustments.
Try out different parameters.Usually I follow 4 steps:
1) turn eq knobs: lower bass or increase treble and presence
2) try Definition to achieve edgy sound if necessary
3) add stomp (boost or dist) before amp
4) apply EQ after amp -
JP Scenes From The Memory and Octavarium!

Right now I've spend an hour trying various profiles I have with cab from you JP8VAR profile and results are tremendous!
All amps sound very good if not great. Could not stop playing!
Tried it in a mix and discovered a little lack in midrange. Boosted a bit around 1 KHz and BAM! Ready for hard rock mix!
And really no bad frequencies which I wanted to cut.Great cab!
PS I used Marshall JVM 410 and Cornford Hellcat And even these totally different amps sound great. Different from Mark, but great.

Dude! I've tried JP profiles and I must say you've nailed the tone!
Scenes From The Memory and Octavarium tones are brilliant!
The best Mark series tone I've tried! And I have TAF Mark V and Soundside, and tried every Mark in RE.
And cleans are terrific!I wish you could profile and tweak Mark IV =)
Thanks, man! You tweak the crap out of Kemper
Keep going! -
I would say first is Mesa
-
Too much EQ
Strange settings - he boost low-end with eq and then uses Green Screem, which cuts low end

Mac user here and don't want to waste the disk space to run Windows on separate partition.
Install VirtualBox, dude, and you can keep it on flash or external drive. I have Win7 this way and it works fine. -
Well, Goldfinger is actually my favourite for cleans!
Fender VibroVerb is awesome though, by AmpFactory as well.
I love TwoRock Matt Schofeild cleans and drive also. Quite vintage. By TAF too. -
Beautiful photos, man!
Great job! -
I would buy such pack, definitely!
-
Favourite JP tones:
1. Rhythm - "The Dark Eternal Night"
2. Lead - "Finally Free" from 5:30 and "Lost Without You" basically all song. -
I would love to try them out!

Great gesture, Andy!
