Hey shred. I don't have experience with the rcf but I have seen blade type speaker connections come off during shipping so hopefully it was a fluke.

I have been using the mk3 ultra FireWire version for several years with great results. I have used boss gt10 via spdif in no problem and I plan on using my kemper via spdif as soon as it arrives. I also use the motu spdif out to my digital monitors and they sound great. Also to clarify some of the other replies spdif is not the same as RCA it is a 75 ohm coaxial cable. connection will be kemper spdif out to motu spdif in.

How about strum tempo, like on my DC glass nexus hold a button and strum the tempo so much better for me then tap temp
