Using the profiles through a traditional cab setup requires a LOT of eq tweaking to cut it and if you're using the same guitar speakers for all your profiles, you're undercutting the benefits of various cab sims in the Kemper(!).
IMHO, use the Kemper profiles through FRFR stereo setup and it's sound excellent!

It wasn't too clear from your website..

Why not consider a pair of JBL EONs? I use these on stands and they sound awesome!
-
Big KUDOS to Kemper for the quick fix: now all profiles load correctly!
-
Be sure to keep 'em under 1000.
-
I have a guess:
Did you load the Factory Content, including the new User Scale Presets?
User Scale example rig ‘PITCH Harmonic Minor’
- added: user scale presets ‘Harmonic Minor’ and ‘MakeNoMistake’I loaded both the User scale presets separately, but didn't load the factory rigs.
-
Anyone else experiencing this?

Let the Kemper format the drive and DON'T PUT ANYTHING ELSE ON IT!
I'd recommend deleting the imported rigs from the "Shared" folder on the USB drive after import. -
Merry Christmas to you, Pete

For about the price of an upscale Tyler Variax, you can outfit your present git with a 13-pin midi (I like the Ghost Hexpander kit) and then get the
RackVax (Rackvax.com). Now you can get all the sounds of the Variax in a single rack unit (works great!). I've retrofitted a Brian Moore, Parker and Ibanez and they all sound fantastic.Peace,

Lasse, you're amazing. These profiles sounds really tight! Even with the Gain on full throttle, the sound holds together, even in dropped tuning.

What would be nice in the meantime is a firmware update that enables the patch names to appear on the floorboard display (like the FC-300)-))

Put a tube screamer and it just sings..Now to fire up those Guthrie Govan DVDs!
-
High gain presets exacerbate these kinds of extra sounds- you could try a string dampener like Guthie Govan uses (but I think it looks kinda cheesy..)

Hilarious! I wonder if the real band is hiding behind the screens!
Reminds me of this:

When I was younger, I bought a Marshall amp because I wanted to sound like James Hetfeid, what a disappointment due to the ignorance of not knowing all of the racks and effects that are behind the scenes that he actually uses. Now we can get all kinds of great tones in one box with the Kemper. Still though, some days I want to hide my Kemper inside a tube head and the DXRs in a 412 because it is so much easier than having to explain what I'm using and how it works.

And increase the number of user slots for custom scales..
