How do I get rid of latency between two Kempers?
On both Kempers you have to use Mute Signal option (Soft button 1) when in Tuner Mode.
Yes they are both enabled, but the kemper 2 doesn't even go on tuning mode

I think I have some problems with the setting, since when I switch tuner on, only my kemper 1 will go on tuner mode.
Thanks Kempermaniac, I'll check straight away.
What should all the midi settings (in both kempers) be that I can run two kempers together with one remote?
I can get the some parameters to change in kemper 2 when touching kemper 1, gain and basic soft knobs.
Is it even possible to get anything else changeing together?
Don't really understand anything about midi.
My biggest problem is how to mute both kempers when you push tuner from remote.
Thanks!
Yes they are both enabled.
Is there anyway you can mute two kempers when you are using tuner from Remote?
I have connected two them via midi out - midi in between kemper 1 & 2
this is expected and normal once the driver is installed
Any way, the problems is I can't connect with the Rig MAnager, so would anybody know what to do?
the installer skips the driver installation once the same version is already installed. Is it that what you mean?
I don't know..I don't think so?
I see that there would be box to check that it would instal the new driver, but it is just dimmed there and I can't check or uncheck the box / option.
I've tryed it three times and also downloaded couple times the file, but always the same.
I think driver is installed along with Rig Manager..
Yes, but I don't know why, but I can see it there, but there is no option to instal it.
Where can I get a driver that works.
I can see that there is a driver file, but there is no option that I could instal it.
My profiler doesn't connect with Rig Manager
I''m using Mac os 10.11.6
Yes, I'm using two kempers at the same time and I love it, I'm having two different profiles and sound is massive and wide.
Love it!
Thanks!
Yes I'm using two different profiles, just like I would use live two different amps to make it sound huge.
I'll check my setting again today.
Thanks, but do I have some wrong setting somewhere in Kemper 1, since my phase problem was there when I connected Kemper 1 direct out to Kemper 2, and I did not have any delay effect there. Direct output was just dry sound, but is there something that could delay the signal to go out of phase, ther problem was noticed in stereo, it off course sounded weird in mono, but I don't use kempers as a mono anywhere
I sounded way different compared to when I splitted the signal from Lehle P-split, I mean the sum stereo sound was different, the invidual sounds were good.
I think two Kempers stil sound more wider that one Kemper with stereo widener.
Go from Kemper 1 Direct Out (set to git analog) to Kemper 2.
In Kemper 2 Set a delay with a few msecs (experiment with different settings) fully wet and lock it.
I tryed this also, the sound was actually much wider in in ears, but in PA or studio monitors, they were badly out of phase.
Witch delay would be the best for this, so that the sound would be otherwise 100% the original?
Now I've been using Lehle P-Split for splitting the singnal for kempers.
Hi!
If I'm using two Kempers at the same time as a stereo, is there a way or what is the best way how get example 6ms 100% delay just to get the sound a bit wider?
I did try some delays, but I'm not sure if the delay I tryed worked well in my purpose?
I was looking for the same thing, so now I'm running two kempers to get that sound, it works and I love it
Thanks a lot Damian
Hi!
I'm building a rack and I'm using Liquid foot controller.
I'm goin to use 4pin xlr cable from the rack to the controller, but here's my main question:
WHAT PINS is KEMPER USING ON MIDI?
My a bit tricky midi signal route is going to be:
KPA - 5pin midi - phantom box - 7pin midi - 4 pin xlr - 7 pin midi - Liquid foot controller.
This is how I'm going to get xlr cable with phantom run to controller,
Anybody have easier solution for this?
And then other question:
What kind of cable is midi cable? or can I just use whatever multi cable?
Thanks!
And if I would like to put phantom also there, I would need 4 pin xlr, and it would come from midi pin 7, is that right?
I do have a power box to get the phantom there.
Sorry, I meant that I don't see normal midi connector as that much of a pro heavy duty connector, compared for a xlr connectors example.
They don't seem to stay in that well, what I've noticed..
Instead of putting proper pro connectors in the middle, I think It would work so much better.
So sorry about the false title on the top, not better cable, but cable with better connectors.
Hi
I'm planing to make better midi cable between my rack and foot controller.
I'd like to use better connectors than normal 5 pin midi, so how many wires/pins do I need for the midi in kemper?
It said somewhere it would use only three, so could I use mic cable and XLR connectors for that example?
When I need to do adapter from kemper to patch bay xor and in the pedalboard the same thing again, how do I know witch pins do I need to use in the midi cable?
Thank!
