Today another one of my old pedals will be going back into it's box thanks to the KPA. I was running my TC nova through the effects loop of the kemper. Using the Pitch Shifter of the TC. Settings w/ Voice1 +12, Voice2 -12, pan1 50L, pan2 50R etc... I use that for the 90's VanHalen sound (at least that's what it sounds like to me).
Tried to copy this sound using the Micro Pitch effect in the kemper and bam! nailed the same sound almost immediately.
Now I'm scratching my head wondering how the Micro Pitch works this magic with just 2 main parameters: Detune (0-10) and Mix (0-100%). What if I want to get a sound like Voice1 +8, Voice2 -8 etc, it looks like just change the Dutune setting? I mean this is great it's trivial to dial in amazing sounds... just trying to readjust my understanding from my old effects parameters (the +/- cents, etc..) to this newer way. TIA.
