  • Stomp buttons: I it possible to send MIDI program change?

    I have the Elektron Analog Drive in the effects loop for my distortion pedal needs. It is midi and progammable. I know that I can select a preset there for each slot in the Performance. I would like to have say 2 distortion options for each Rig in the Performance. Is it possible for the Kemper to send program change when I press one of the stomp buttons on the Remote? Ideally I would like to use just one stomp slot and have the loop there, and have the Kemper send a different Program change depending on the button I press on the Remote.

  • NEW "Loop Distortion"- type tailored for running a single analog drive pedal with integrated SEND Level and Return Studio EQ using only one slot

    I find that the Kemper drives are not that great and feel that an analog drive pedal is great to have in the effects loop. Since there is only one loop, and an analog pedal has static settings I use 2 slots as follows:


    - one for the loop itself with Mix Pre
    - one studio EQ to alter the characteristic of that single drive pedal to suit a certain RIG


    Suggestion:
    Have one new "Loop Drive" - type to have all these two in one:
    - the loop
    - studio EQ



    This way you could do wonders just having one analog drive of your choice in the loop, retaining Kemper in control of the drive level and the wanted characteristic of the distortion.
