Couldn't be happier.

Ok, I see that there is a section in the output menu. Main out link and monitor out link are checked.
What should I set the main out link to? I have two Q12's connected via XLR to the main outs in the back.
This is confusing.
I hope my unit is not messed up.
Non powered toaster. My master volume. I usually keep my volume at about 9:00 and the master I usually never messed with. But I noticed that if I turn the master volume down past 7, there's no sound. I have tried the noise gate off. I've tried the regular volume up more and it makes no difference.
They sound more cab like to me. The CLR sounded too processed, for lack of a better word
Matrix powered Q12's
Like them better than the CLR's I had.
Besides the morphing, which I will not use (don't even use an external pedal) what do we have with 4.0, a short summary if you will?
Sorry, I don't feel like digging through 16 pages.
Noob with the Kemper here. So what happens if you upgrade your FW? All your tones get deep 6'd?
Or do you export > upgrade firmware > import?
There aren't enough options already right?
So far I have used Sins profiles. A+
This guys Marshall profiles >>>>>
= BAD F*****G ASS !!!!!!
G'damn fellas how am I to decide? Ok, who's the cheapest, LOL.
Where do I get them, or are they not out yet? Like the first one the best. Leme guess 57?
Engl high gain metal profiles. Marshall JCM 800 / JVM410H
Who's got the best? Who do you recommend? Think High Gain, Metal. JCM 800 / JVM410H
Ok got what you mean. I guess the CLR requires more EQ and profiles tweak.
I never used the Kemper with the CLR. Just the Amplifire. But it just sounded too clear for my liking. Kind of tough to pinpoint the correct words.
I had the CLR. Sounded too pronounced in the treble region. I'm loving the Matrix Q12's. More of a cab Iike feel IMO.
So set the profiles with volume, save then adjust with the master. Got it. I knew this already, but sometimes my brain doesn't work.
Thanks guys, I have to figure out the relation between the volume and the master volume. When I turn down there is some loss of tone. When I turn the master down too much the thing just doesn't produce any sound. Maybe the volume up more and the master down.
New profiler.
Sold off all my tube amps as I was so impressed with the Amplifire into a CLR. The CLR sounded too hi fi, or sizzly on the high end, so I sold it. Got the Matrix Q12's and couldn't be happier. Definitely more of a cab feel. The only issue is they are very bass oriented and most of the profiles I have to take the bass down a notch. Don't know if that's because they are on the floor. But for me, the Q12's are a far better solution for the type of music I play, which is not clean. I'm down in the depths of the underworld with the Mark V's, Bogner's, 5150's, etc.....
Anyhow, this thing is well worth the close to 5k I have invested in it. I'm also stoked that there is enough info and tweaking contained inside this thing to occupy me for a while.
The only issue I have with it, and this is probably because I'm 3' in front of the thing on a bean bag (LOL) is ear fatigue pretty quickly. I have the decibel app on my phone and it's running about 90+
Anything lower and I lose a lot of clarity, but I feel it's still too loud.

Currently, there isn't a way for the user to directly interrogate the KPA and have it discriminate between Studio and Merged profiles.
Cheers,

Make it sticky! And dear Support please add a parameter to rig to display it's version (studio, direct, merged) on LCD...[/quote]
Thanks, I have no tube amps any longer, so I will not be doing this process myself. It just seems to me that if a profile gets created, and is a whole of the amp and cab, then you switch out the cabinet, still a piece of the original cabinet remains. That's what was confusing me. It makes sense, the post about the studio, direct and merged profiles. I'm just surprised there is no way to tell, or there is not a mandatory flag set on profiles to discern what type of profile you are dealing with, hence the request in the last post above.
I am primarily an "let my ear decide" type of guy. But I like to know I'm getting the best tone possible and to change a cab on a profile, when a piece of the cab is still in the profile, doesn't seem like the best thing to do.
