I have to add that I have activated "Monitor Cab Off" in the output and go via a power amplifier into a 1x12 cabinet.

I could be completely off but could this be related to studio profiles? Try with a merged profile as well.
That's a good point! When I switch between Mergend Profiles the sound of the loop does not change.

I also don't understand why the EDIT button is needed. Each module can also be accessed directly, right?

I haven't used the USB port for a week. Out of fear!

On my stage I noticed that even if the Looper is set to "Post" the sound of the recorded loop changes when you change the slot in Perform mode.
It's like the looper is behind the amp block and in front of the cab block. With my toaster I never noticed this behavior.

I bought the combo package last week.
Will the version 2.0 update for the Dirty 40 Pack still come? I would be especially interested in that. ?

I am curious when there will be an update for the Kemper Kone. It took a very long time until the Celestion F12-X200 was finally on the market.
And the long announced Friedman Celestions are also a long time in coming.

I was wondering, though, whether the Stage uses the same chip - has there been any confirmation of that? I was reading that it was near the end of its life cycle, so I was thinking that maybe the Stage, being brand new and I guess with plans to be around at least 5 years (the original profiler is what, 7-8 years old already?), might probably have a newer and more powerful chip which could allow more.
The UI on the Stage feels faster to me than it did on the Head. I wouldn't be surprised if something newer was built in.

Since the Celestion F12-X200 is only available in 8 Ohm, I assume that the version modified for Kemper also has 8 Ohm.

On my pedalboard I have a HX Stomp. I like it. When I play with a tube amp or the Kemper it's only for effects. And when I'm using the pedalboard alone, I use the amp simulations as well. With the right IRs they are even relatively good. However, it's much more fiddly to get a usable amp sound than with the Kemper.
-
Perhaps it would be best if the profiler simply remembers the last mode. Then no further option in the crowded system menu is necessary.

I just put everything together on a plywood board for testing purposes. It gets a little too bulky for my taste.
Therefore I consider to make two boards out of it, which talk to each other with MIDI.
One with the Kemper Stage, the Powerstage, an Expression Pedal and Line6 G70 Wireless.
And the second board with the stompboxes and a Boss ES-5 Switcher. Both boards should also make sense on their own.

I also bought the pack yesterday. I'm looking forward. Unfortunately I have to wait until tonight to try it out.
-
I also use morphing as a solo boost and slightly increase gain and volume.
Often I raise the mids slightly and lower the bass a little.

Mine did it twice after freezing twice using the Rig Manager! Everything was fine with it disconnected!
Exactly the same thing happened to me.

I find it convenient that it starts automatically. This saves one button press. Sometimes setup on stage is very hectic.
It would also be great if the Kemper could remember if it was in Browse or Perform mode last.

I was thinking about building a pedalboard with the Kemper Stage, a Seymour Duncan Powerstage 170 poweramp and selected pedals. The pedals are to be managed with the Morningstar ML-5 midi controlled Loop switcher.
Does anyone else have similar plans?

My Kemper Stage came today. Unfortunately I didn't have much time to play it yet. But the short first impression was very good!
For me it is definitely the better solution than the Powerhead with Remote. I was never really satisfied with feel of the Class D Poweramp. That's why I preferred to do my stage monitoring through the FX return of tube amps.
Fullrange speakers are rather an emergency solution for me. I sometimes use a Yamaha DXR10. Before I had the Friedman ASM-12. It sounds better but is much too heavy and unwieldy for my taste. Let's see if Kemper Kone can make a difference.
I also found the GUI more fluid than with the Toaster. And I find it convenient that the footswitches are less close together.

I'm gonna try playing with it. Whereby I actually don't want to change the sound from the XRL Out.
