great sounds and playing. what rig were you using?
Thanks, I believe it was one of the default presets called "LL- Liquid Leads" with some slight delay and I typically set the EQ for
Bass and Mid slightly boosted, and Treble back downed a little bit, Presence was flat (12 o'clock) no other mods/effects have been used -
I am still recovering from some neck and wrist pains so once I get a chance, I want to record the whole thing without any interruption smile emoticon
Suhr Guitars Kemper Amps and Yamaha DXR10 PA have been used in this recording (recorded with an iPad while a youtube video playing in the back)
WATCH IN HD FOR BETTER AUDIO if possiblehope you enjoy it

I go SPDIF from Scarlett to Kemper, that way staying all digital, than I connect monitors to Scarlett with TRS cables
I see I don't have Spdif in/out in my 2i2 though,

Welcome aboard! I think everyone in Seattle should get a Kemper and play it only on rainy days lol.
I know right?
Glamcem I just noticed you'vo got white lunchbox and Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 - same setup here
cool, I actually have the 2i2 (stripped down version I believe) how do you connect the DAW to the Kemper and monitor ?

I am a newbie at Kemper forums but I think I can speak for the wood and tonal characteristics of guitars from first hand experience. I have been playing for about 25 years and owned so many different types of guitars and wood combinations.. if you ask for an honest opinion, there are a lot more important things than the actual wood itself such as the neck shape and the pickup configuration .. I tend compensate the wood characteristics with the opposite end of the spectrum with the pickup so it's somewhat easier to reach the tones in two extremes..So I decided to get Suhr Modern satin, why because it's cheaper than building it, the pickups have more mid character and Mahogany body has more scoop sound.. with the teles many people prefer Swamp ash ,, and the flame maple on top is more for looks but not really for function many makers agree on that.. mahogany body and neck with hand polish has very distinct, bright sound and sustain.. imo, I even owned a mahagony Strat for a while it sounded great with Tex Mex pick ups

Speaking of FRFR I think my search is complete now with Equatord's D5, they produce massive sound when needed. I would like to try yet Yamahas MSP5 ver. 1 if chance happens.
If things will go right (I will help them to go right) I'll go to USA someday, buy 500$ car and will go from East to West Yeah that is one of me dreams
very cool, btw, don't ever buy a $500 car .. ever

here's my guitar in action, hopefully with the Kemper I will be able to capture the sound a lot better than mic'd cab/amp

Welcome to the nicest community ever!
It does look like a great community I've been actually lurking for a while seeking the answers (FRFR speakers recommendations and whatnot) and so far I like it
speaking of Seattle, yes, It's a beautiful city and there are many talented musicians (some of them are friends) good music scene here so cannot complain, I'd definitely recommend you to visit here if you get a chance

Welcome! I live in Auburn, WA. So I guess I can say hello neighbor.
Russ
oh very cool, hi neighbor -
Hello everyone,
Just checking in. I've finally picked up my Kemper Profiling Amp from Guitar center with a couple JBL studio monitors (5" version) to be used with my Suhr Modern Satin guitar.
I've also purchased a new Yamaha DXR 10 powered speakers but haven't received it yet.I also have a Laney Ironheart 30 watt combo amp and Nova System ( and a few pedals) once I profile my amp it will be listed for sale .. I also recently sold my Engl Gigmaster amp so I can also take the profile of that and can share both profiles here
I have been playing for about 25 years and owned so many different rigs and I have to say this is the best closest thing to a real tube amp sound so I am loving it so far
I will soon download the new firmware and start reading the stickies ..[Blocked Image: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-wiLT9sjbDHA/VURDlc24mDI/AAAAAAAAJ9o/vf5rC_HKNu8/w891-h500-no/DSC_0017%2B(Large).JPG]
