OK forgive me. What is the purpose of having the bass and treble change via a volume pedal? I mean, I can see where gain, depth, modulation and the like is a needed feature, but bass and treble? Maybe its just showing us that "anything" will be able to be controlled by a controller pedal perhaps???

Being from Texas and listening to the Revered Mr. Gibbons for a few decades now, I still remember what he said many years ago and it hold true even today. He said "You don't have to be the best one..., just be a good un"... Spank the plank...

I would doubt that the monitor output will ever have the option/ability to send a "balanced" signal out because I believe its hardware design is High Z unbalanced signal cable connections. Correct where needed guys.
-
Im using a regular signal cable out from there (set cab off in the output settings) into a SLA 2 amp input (thats bridged mono), so yes Id say its unbalanced....

Im using 2 CLR's in the studio and they have tone to the bone for me with out much if any eq or noodling frequencies. But then Im not playing at 110 decibels knocking over small cars so my way may not be for those needing a wall of sound.

Actually you can use a single pedal in order to control Wha and Volume in the same preset.
Other options are not available yet ( and we don't know if they will ever be) and this cannot be considered a bug.No not a bug, but a major goof on their part in my opinion. Why? It falls behind by miles compared to its "major competition's abilities" in this regard. I know this because Ive owned both. You can control the rotary speed, depth, modulation speeds, curve of the sweep of the pedal, percentage of when the Wah actually engages and disengages, and more I can't think of off the top of my head atm. The Kemper is VERY lacking in its abilities in this area and needs some updates to stay competitive. Yea I know it sounds great and thats not even close to the point Im making here.

Whatever we get its more than we have now.
Mr. Obvious would be so proud...

Ive had a set of Kinman wood stocks in my strat for a while now, an luv um with the KPA...
-
I guess YMMV as always
Im using two CLR's and love the KPA sounds Im getting. And Im not running any extra EQ.. But then the quest for the holy grail of tone is indeed everlasting.

One can only hope Dean!!!
FYI- one of the best sound design features on the software side of the Axe FX II is it's editor. Its something for Fractal to brag about, and they should brag because it works well and its easy to use. I too would love for my KPA to have a good (MAC) editor...

I hate to ask this but ...
How do I assign a stomp (a b c or d) to a profiler remote switch (the ones above the number switches)?
Thanks!
edited: Assigning switching functions to the Effect Buttons is simple: just press and hold an Effect Button and press
the desired Module Button, e.g. STOMP A, on the Pro ler’s front panel at the same time. Done! It also works the
other way round: press and hold the Module Button on the Pro ler rst, then step on the desired E ect Button
afterwards.
when all else fails RTFM... -
OK and thanks for the info guys- and yea Black Friday and the following Cyber Monday (on line sales) are HUGE here in the states!!!
-
well poo I was not asking the salesmen, I was asking the forums if they normally do this...So be it- any Commercial rig and profiler makers plan on having a Black Friday sale? Sorry if I missed the news on it but its my 1st rodeo for this year on the subject.

We used to do BTO 3 piece without keyboards and the audience loved it. Yea theres piano in TCB but what most remember is that vocal and guitar hook, so I think you will be just fine without it. Other CCR tunes are Fortunate Son and Heard it thru the Grapevine. People go wild over Fogerty and rightly so

I was speaking of Commercial Rigs and Profiles...

No, it only depends on how one reacts to this joke. Like this 10/90 % principle. 10% of life is made up of what happens to you and the rest 90% is decided by how you react to this.
And my reaction to someone who meant to be funny but was not is my reaction, and is just as valid a reaction as yours is. However trying to cover up the BS with more BS doesn't make it right, no matter the quality of BS or how you try to cover it. We all make mistakes. Move on....
