  • Using the Foot Controller in Electronic Environments with Ableton Live

    Hi everyone,


    I am really enjoying the built quality of the Kemper pedal.
    What I was wondering is if there's a way to get Midi-messages out of the pedal so you could use the buttons for other purposes.
    Example: The looper in Ableton Live can be quantized to a beat and does start on the beginning of a measure of desired so.
    What I would like to accomplish is:
    Pressing any button on the kemper pedal with my foot, get the midi message out of the kemper amp and give that to the ableton looper.
    Anyone ever done this?
    Or, other way round, anyone ever tried to get the kemper looper in sync with ableton's tempo?
    I love the sound and the flexibilty of my kemper but when using ableton I have to use two pedals, one for ableton, one for the kemper.
    I'd really like to see the two worlds combined. Somehow.
