Is your Ubuntu user account in the 'vboxusers' group?
sudo usermod -a -G vboxusers yourusername
Yes it should be, but let me doublecheck that.
Edit: It's now working. Apparently a reboot was necessary.

I'm running Ubuntu 18.04 with latest VirtualBox and cannot add the Kemper as an USB device. Is there any workaroud needed?
I'm thinking of getting an FRFR speaker for guitar and bass.
The thing is I would like to have something that is looking more like a traditional cab.
Has anyone tried the Friedman ASC-12 or Mission Engineering Gemini GM-2 with a bass guitar? Or any other "cab like" FRFR speaker?
I was thinking about getting the Friedman cab. But after that review I'm not sure anymore. Does anybody have the Friedman ASM-12/ASC-12?
Cool!
Are you going to include some merged profiles too?
I made a second one, with my Fender Deluxe PJ bass:
Hey guys
I made a bass playthrough video with a song of my band called Grey Monday.
For this track I used a Darkglass Microtubes 900 profile from wattamp (https://www.wattamp.co.uk/product-page/badass-bass-bundle-1).
Check it out:
D'addario NYXL for all my guitars (1046 and1052).
And also D'addario for my bass guitars.
I agree, the Bogner pack is awesome. I combined these Bogner cabs with other profiles and I'm really happy with the result.
@Deadlightstudio what about a pack with different cabs/IRs? I would totally go for it.
Are these only high gain profiles or did you also profile some clean / light overdriven tones?
I like the improvement with the new 5.5 beta firmware (added: Transpose in the Rig Settings). This setting as a global parameter in the input block would be even better!
Added new profiles with Maxon OD808 Overdrive.
I made some DI profiles of my Orange Micro Terror head which I rarely use.
Two of the profiles are boosted with an EVH 5150 distortion pedal. You can use these profiles with the cab IRs of your choice.
These rigs can be found on rig exchange too, just search for author: endrwenigr.
Have fun!
I really dig the Darkglass Microtubes 900 and Ampeg SVT Pro 4 profiles from Wattamp Bad Ass Bass Bundle:
https://www.wattamp.co.uk/product-page/badass-bass-bundle-1
And also this one from Sonic Underground Productions:

Hi
Recently I purchased a Darkglass Vintage Deluxe. I made some DI profiles, mostly clean and light overdriven. You can find these profiles on rig exchange (username: endrwenigr) or attached to this thread.
Please note that these are my first profiles ever created . I'm going to profile some more overdriven/distorted settings in the future.
Cheers!
I just got a used Darkglass Vintage Deluxe pedal for a good price. I'll try to do some profiles of it.
Reducing LowMids and boosting HighMids + Treble would not have come to my mind. Lowering basses and boosting LowMids instead has proven to be useful, but this way ... you get a scoop(?) sound, do not know if that is wanted?
I think it's also a matter of taste. I try to keep these EQ settings subtle. Let me do some sample recordings at a later time to show you.
Yeah, i also use a lowcut at (mostly) 60hz
You can also try to reduce low mids and boost high mids, treble and presence to get a more clear tone. For my that works really well. I use a Fender P Bass with light overdriven profiles.
I mainly use DI profiles and put a graphic EQ with low cut (around 65-75hz) into slot X.
