Excuse me, not the latest OS 5, but to OS 5.5.2.13463 Release, which is my most recent favourite ...

Actually, I don't care much about the reverbs (including the newest ones ...). But the Rig X-Fade Time issue makes me feel really uncomfortable. It was one of my most appreciated Kemper features. So, at least for a time, I have returned to the latest OS 5 ...

Hi there ... Anything on these issues?
-
Hello. I have recently upgraded my powered head to the latest OS 6.0.0.14574 Release from OS 5.5.2.13463 Release. I have noticed since then that the Rig X-Fade Time parameter in System Settings has no effect at all irrespective of its value (at least in performance mode, which is where I usually live ...). Changing from one slot to any other takes place instantly (except for some random occasions from time to time).
By the way, I have also noticed that the reverb Volume parameter, which I usually morphed in many performance slots, has disappeared from every reverb ...
Thanks in advance !!

I take your point. Thanks again for your prompt response, Burkhard !!

A simple import strategy for performances via USB might consist of asking the user, in the beginning of the import process, at which performance location should the imported performances start. The user could overwrite existing performances if he/she wished to do so. The backup/restore method just overwrites absolutely everything, which, anyway, is extremely slow (including the tedious system check/restart). The fact that users have been living without this "absolute must" for years, does not mean that the backup/restore option is convenient: it is simply the only option. Anyway, thank you for your response.

Would be fantastic to have a parametric EQ for the main and for the monitor output!
Maybe with an option to switch between the standard and a parametric EQ.For now I have an external parametric "Art Tube EQ" at the main out, but IMHO this is just a compromise and could be done by the Kemper itself.
... one for Main, one for Monitor, AND one for Headphones too !!

I think exporting/importing performances via USB sticks (in exactly the same fashion as with individual rigs) is an absolute must. The backup method currently available is extremely slow and inconvenient ...

It works. Thanks again. Anyway, an "official" fix would be greatly appreciated ...

Oh, thank you so much !! I will try the workaround !!

V8guitar & Sharry, thanks for the tip. I had already checked morph time ...
Musicmad, do you mean that shorter morph times will fix the issue?

I have been noticing since I started using morphing via the remote preset switches (no external pedals involved), that it is quite often the case that morphing occurs in a "discrete" way, i.e., that the morphed state of the preset takes place instantly when pressing its corresponding remote switch instead of appearing smoothly, in a "continuous" fashion. Sometimes morphing takes place as it is supposed to do, but sometimes it does not. In these cases, pressing the corresponding remote switch has a similar effect as that of changing from one preset to another, i.e., an instant sound change. However, reverting from the morphed state to the normal state seems to be working well always, with its smooth transition back to the normal state.
I might try to investigate whether the instant, non-smooth morph behavior takes place only with specific presets. But it is my impression that it happens just randomly ... Any clue? Thanks in advance !!

Problem seems to have been resolved with the latest 5.5.0 public beta. Thank you so much !!
