You won't get any colorization if you turn off preamps on the interface. TS connections are good enough from Kemper to interface. Some interface turn on the preamp if you plug in XLR cables. Just use the TS cables.
Every day's a school day I'm looking into 1/4" cables now

Both those options should be ok. The preamps in your interface may colour things in a way that you don't like or maybe do like. So be sure to try both ways to find what works best for you.

You can create profiles of dual amp (or more) set ups already but they will be mono

The Power Amp Boost parameter in the output section value has changed from 6.0db to 0db since I updated. However I'm actually perceiving an increase in volume at the same output settings to my Kabinet from my Powerhead.

No they ate not working for monitor out
They work fine on monitor out for me

Hi
That pack was an 800 head I borrowed.
I since got an original 1985 800 which is a much better sounding amp so I replaced it on the Big Cartel store.
Here is the new 800 pack.
Thanks I've already purchased the JCM8 pack a while ago. However I didn't realise how entirely awesome it was until I tried it again yesterday at volume through my Kabinet. The best 80's rock sound I've ever heard from my Kemper lives in there
Hence asking about the other 800 too, so thanks for explanation

mickrich I'd like to purchase this pack if it's still available please? https://tmsprofiles.bigcartel.com/product/tms-profiles-800m
It says it's sold out whenever I open the page.

Hi everyone,
Is there actually a forum verdict on which Kemper Kone speaker imprint comes closest to Britt's CL80 cab?
Sorry if it's already mentioned in this thread... but it's 158 pages long....
Thanks!
I've not seen any consensus on that. It would be great to see a Classic 80 imprint included in the future to aid this.

thanks man, i felt like i was pissing in the wind with this thread for a while. I have Ownhammer, ML, and York all great was just thinking if the Choptones ones are any good. I love their direct profiles so thats why i had to ask about the irs
cheers
IMHO you won't find any IR's that sound better than ML Sound Lab or York Audio

This is the Rig Manager release that will stop me doing editing on the device. Until now I always found it easier to add effect presets into slots by pressing the buttons and turning the knobs on the Kemper.

Boss WL20 works fine for me with the Kemper https://www.boss.info/uk/products/wl-20_wl-20l/

I'm that impressed by this profile that I'm now keeping my eye out for a Ceriatone Trainwreck clone, so much for Kemper curing GAS
I bought an Express direct from Nik at Ceriatone back in 2009 and that was my go to live rig for a number of years. Superb amp if you can live without an fx loop and great value too.

You wouldn't run a mic'ed amp to FOH without adding EQ at the desk. So I guess this additional EQ within the profiles is what make so many people say they run their Kemper live with the mixer EQ flat, or to not let the FOH guy add his usual guitar EQ curve to your Kemper tone.

YJM and the AFD sound interesting

Those Marshall Experiment audio demos sound great Mattfig
-
Why? Do you find the highs with pure cab OFF cutting better in a mix?
I really don't like what pure cab does to the sound. I'm mainly a live player but I still prefer it off for recording too.

My Pure Cab is tuned off all the time

Press delete in rig manger or the corresponding soft key on the device

I like that this is trying to cover all bases ie. modelling, multi effects and (ahem) profiling. However I suspect that like most jack of all trades it will end up being the master of none.
