This is a feature if I remember correctly.

Did you try with headphones?
-
Nope. Won't bite
-
Great playing!

Hard to help but are you sure you don't have monitoring enabled in logic then? That could create a feedback loop.
-
Did you try muting the channels as suggested?
-
Try positioning the cabinets so they face in different directions. One facing forwards, and one facing backwards. How do they sound now?

Definitely sounds like an SPDIF mismatch. I have the Twin at 44.1 khz. Here I first play with Kemper at 48 khz, then switch to 44 khz the second time around:

Sorry for the over-playing. Am drunk

Not sure where the feedback comes from, but make sure to mute input 1 and 2 on the Twin. Could potentially solve it.
Also when going into the Twin with XLR you NEED to select Mic. Line is only listening on the jack part of the multi-socket. In your screen shot only one of 1 and 2 are set to Mic. That is why you don't get stereo. I propose you link 1 and 2 to make it easy:
Let me know if this changes things. Also not sure why you'd set the cue to 3/4 - but that part I need to relearn everytime I need it

You plugged your guitar into the headphone output?
-
Dave Murray and Kirk Hammett. Don't know a single DM solo but Live after death was such an inspiration. Learned every KH solo up until the black album.
-
Yes. The twins input does seem to color especially crunch sounds in a good way. Ever so slightly as said.
-
Spdif allows me to record both the stack and the direct signal for reamping (git/stack option) in an easy way.
Also its simpler in terms of cabling.
But the analog inputs sounds ever so slightly beefier so that's also a good option.

I have a twin. I record metal guitars mostly but play all genres. Don't use any plug-ins while recording the Kemper because I record with spdif. Love the 610, 1176, 140 for tracking vocals though.

The earlier you buy it, the longer you can enjoy it

Thanks I gave it a listen. Hard to discern precisely but doesn't sound high pitched enough to be a digital click. Can't offer any help but to contact support. Just curios, if you zoom in on the waveform of the cracks in the DAW what does it look like?
-
I think we can rule out the interface if it happens on the Kemper headphone output as well. Could you post a recording of it perhaps?
