Have been using the Kemper for about 2 months. I use as a bass and guitar rig! I have always wanted something that can do both well 
Im currently using a Boss MS3 to control everything. I use a Eventide H9 in the effects loop as well. Im just waiting on a Radial Cabbone and then i can switch Cabs with the Boss MS3
