Won't hurt anything, except maybe your ears. Try using DI or Merged profiles with the cabinet off. Let the goodness of the cabinet come through.

Cool but I guess this pedal will become more popular amongst keyboard players rather than guitarists.
Not necessarily. I have a GR-55, which is a similar premise, but on steroids. I use it all the time for recording parts of a song that I normally couldn't play on guitar.

Do your sounds match the ones in the video? If not, check out the video on how to dial in profiles to your guitar from Tone Junkie.

Uninstall everything Kemper
try a utility called "usboblivion" and remove any Kemper related devices.
reboot your machine
try a clean install.

I still use my Peterson Stomp Classic as a first pedal, before my Digitech Drop and Kemper. I haven't used the Kemper tuner at all, other than to see how it works.

We need a clear message from Kemper. Will there be Any New Hardware this year?
Somebody tell the new guy to calm down.
-
Put a USB thumb drive into the Kemper and make a backup BEFORE DELETING ANYTHING!!!!
-
Try to isolate the problem. Turn off Rig Manager (if on). Disconnect any usb, footswitch, etc. Just have the Kemper by itself. Does the message still come up?
-
Would be helpful if you told us what the message said.

Welcome to the club. You've taken the red pill.
It only gets better, the more that you learn about it.

I think that is the first video that I've ever seen where I liked the cheaper version. I have a headrush, and maybe better micing would have brought a different result. I don't know, but I'm stunned.

I changed out all wiring in the guitar, and put in real Gibson parts. If you do this, learn from my mistake that the schematics for the Epiphone Toggle Switch differs from the Gibson Toggle Switch. I first tried doing it "the easy way" of taking a wire off, and putting it on the Gibson switch. It didn't work. I looked at the schematics and rewired it the correct way.

There is a difference. Not better or worse, but different.
Why not just post the profile here as an attachment? Sharing sites are blocked here at work.

There are a ton of options, including the option of an external power amp and your cabinet of choice.

I had a PAF and PAF Plus set, and it was damn close to spot on. Like it was said in a previous response, you should probably just try an EQ, since your pickups aren't that different from the PAFs.
