My idea is to test the amp trying and profile it in different ways(I'm new to that) , see how it works with the amp + effects and then kemper only + effects which i can take everywhere switching between configurations and other amps

Hello Everyone !!!
Just bought a Friedman JJ Jr and would like to use it as the Amp plus Kemper for effects only
Ive seen some treads and noticed that there are different solutions
1- Plug guitar into kemper + fx loop onto amp
2-Plug guitar into Amp +Fx loop into kemper
I guess the # 2 should be the one the would that reflect the the nature of the amp better leaving effects to kemper without changing anything (turning stack off)
I would welcome any views or better solutions for that
