    Hi fergal

Just started up my KPA to check if there´s a volume control in the delay display,

and the only delays with volume controls are the "Quad Delays" , "Harmonic Delays",

and a few others, so , as I mentioned in my first reply : it´s the "Mix" knob at the front

    panel :)

You got me fooled there for a while 8o

If you want to "bump up the overall volume" put a clean booster i "X" or "Mod" stomp box slot .

BTW , I´m running the steady as a rock OS 6.0.0 . Works perfect 8)

    Cheers !

Is´nt there a knob for that on the front panel ? ( Mix )

Besides the Volume parameter in Delay display .....

Has anything changed and, if so, with what OS upgrade

    did that happen ???? =O

Will I ever be brave enough to upgrade now .... :/

    Cheers !

Here´s another take on the "problem" with "bad timing" ;)

Yeah very cool reference thanks, I got to go deeper listening this band , any recommendation on an album ?

This one is really good .... It was the beginning of "Wind up doll day wind" I "heard" in you song ..... ( @ 19.56 )

Not exactly , but that´s how my brain works 8o

They released 2 official albums in the 70´s and one "Third" later on with "leftovers", with some songs that also

appears on Kit Watkins solo album "Labyrinth" ( Check Wikipedia for more info ... )

Is it the 2 screws at the bottom on each side ? If so , their "only"

job is to keep the "hood" in place , nothing internal ....

Just remember where you store them so you can put them

back when / if you ever sell your KPA :)

    ( TORX T - 10 is the tool you need )

    Cheers !

Or , if you still have the "Stomp box" view in the display when pressing "Store",

only the settings you made ( if any ) for that specific stomp are saved , not the "Rig" ... :/

Did you press "Exit" after adjusting the stomp box , and then press "Store" ?

    Just a thought ......

    Cheers !

Maybe a little off topic , but not much ..... :/

What do you guys think about bands playing covers

without paying royalties to the composer / owner

    of the songs ?

And copying other guitarist sound and solos ?

( Although it will never sound exactly the same )

Impressions and influences , OK , that´s how we learn

and develop ..... but copying ....

    Cheers !

So it will be a Happy Holiday after all then  Yeeeaayy !

( And all other days too ..... )

I will also "adjust" some rig with this "discovery" :)

Thanx for getting me started with the "experiment"

A very good advice Goodadvice 8o

    Cheers !

Maybe a "stoopid" question, but is it even possible to upload

someone elses Rig´s on RE ? Everybody has their own "Author name"

in their KPA´s and that name is forever stuck to the profiles made on that

specific KPA , right ?? You can rename Rigs but not the Authors name .... Right ????

Correct me if I´m wrong :pinch:

And even if it´s possible , why ? For peanuts ..... Want some extra money? Sell fake Rolex´s .....

    ( NO ! Don´t do it , THAT´s a crime ! It´s a JOKE ! ) :P

    Cheers !

Hi all . Just did a quick test and "Studio EQ" is "tha thang" to use. as mentioned

before by many .... This is my "not scientific" findings

Put it in a "Stomp"after the (fizzy) amp section , turn down "High Gain" to -12dB

and then turn "High Freq" all the way up to 33400Hz something .

Strike a chord and turn "High Freq" knob down and listen ....

You should hear things begin to happen around 16000Hz , at least I did. (Old ears 8o )

Adjust untill you like what you hear . Even raise the "High Gain" a bit to match .....

And of course it all depends on how you monitor your sound and what "Rig" and

    guitar you use ...... ( I use a DXR-10 on a stick =O )

    Cheers and Merry X-Mas !
