Which setting does Kemper recommend for bass profiles with liquid profile/tone stacks?

You have less FX effect. Only 4 FX Slots and not all FX are available in player.

So it depends how much you use them.

If you only use the amp profiles, compressor, delay and reverb a switch to player could be a good decision.

Or you sell your powered Kemper and get an stage, if you use allot of Fx

Usb connection is only for data transfer. You cannot charge your tablet.

Did you tried to connect directly with your phone?

You get an QR code on the screen of the kemper and connect with your phone. You need the Kemper App.

I like the fender bassman amp for bass and ampeg svt

I don't have this issue. I use xlr out directly to the sound engineer.

Official tone stacks for Bass Amps

First: thank you for the new feature updates. Iam very happy!

In the tonejunky announcement video was spoken of 40 different amps which have been modeled by Kemper.
Were the bass players also thought of and bass amps tone stack also modeled?

I would like to have for example a Ampeg and Fender Bassman.

In the tonejunky announcement video was spoken of 40 different amps which have been modeled by Kemper.
Were the bass players also thought of and bass amps tone stack also modeled?

I would like to have for example a Ampeg and Fender Bassman.

When you have a parallel routing, the delay and reverb don't affect each other.

When you have serial routing, the for example delay first and after that reverb. Your delay will added reverb on top.

And you can choose a mixture of something in between.

Was passiert wenn du den Mix von delay und reverb erhöhst, bei gleichem ducking? Könnte mir vorstellen dass das Abhilfe schaffen könnte. Kann es aber nicht ausprobieren.

Das klingt live nicht gut: Spielt man schnell und bestimmt, ist das Signal absolut trocken ohne Ambience Effekte - am Ende eines Tones kommt dann das Delay. Ich finde einfach keine Möglichkeit auch bei den "normalen" Anschlägen dann zumindest etwas Delay oder Reverb zu haben. Auch ein 2. Delay mit negativem Ducking funktioniert nicht, da die beiden sich in der "Mitte" dann überlappen und es Matsch gibt.

Morphen geht auch nur mit Pedal: Wenn es anschlagsensitives Morphen geben würde, wäre das die Universalwaffe - gibt es aber nicht.

Vielleicht hat noch jemand eine Idee, oder ich hab was übersehen??

(Ach ja - und falls jetzt kommt: Das ist doch ein altes Thema - ich habe schon gesucht im Forum, aber nix dazu gefunden.)

I tried the fender bassman tone stack with an fender bass amp profile for bass. It worked great

Liquid profiling for bass works. What we need is the "tone stacks" of some bass amps.

I already requested this feature, in the feature request forum.

The ability to manage dual, totally independent paths is what I am missing the most.

I have a guitar with dual output (magnetic + piezo) and being able to process both sounds in the Kemper without additional outboard gear would be terrific. At the moment I am using a Yamaha AG Stomp which does all the work.

Even with a standard, mag-only instrument, dual amp/profile are needed to recreate certain tones.

Some requested feature are already in the Kemper Os.

But Kemper decides which feature request which feature is "usefull" in their view and will be implemented.
