I think I just figured it out. I have to mark them as favorites in Rig Manager, not on the toaster.

There goes a couple of hours!

I thought that's what I did tonight. I was in rig manager, My Profiler and went through a number of rigs. I marked a bunch as favorites on the toaster by holding down the RIG button. None of them are in my favorites list. I understand that I was listening to "previews" of the profiles, but the unit did let me mark them as favorites.

What did I do wrong?

I have the GearbyCeba screen protectors on my Helix and they're great, but what else is available for Kemper that is more than a thin piece of plastic or cell phone type glass? I'm afraid of dropping something on the remote screen....

I did update. I had some freezes and my remote went off a couple of times today, but it seems to happen only when the usb is plugged in and I'm using Rig Manager and manipulating a bunch of stuff on the toaster. Seems solid when not connected via the usb.

To Keep the Same Effect in Every Rig:

To keep the same reverb in every rig, press and hold the 'Lock' button.
all of the upper LEDs should be off now, except for 'Input'.
while continuing to hold 'Lock', press the 'Reverb' button and bingo, this reverb setting is now locked.
