I’ve had it about a week and I have it paired up with a Headrush 112. I’m getting some really great tones out of it. My frustration is with compiling performances. I have the rig manager on my laptop and it’s easy to tweak stuff with it. Once I finally had a performance built I needed to adjust some amp settings on one of the presets/rigs.
Do I need to go back to browse and adjust that then add that one again? Or can I modify and save it while in performance.. I used to be quiet tech savvy but as I’ve gotten older stuff like this is getting daunting. I’m sure I’m over looking or missing a step or something.
anyhow, aside of the frustration it sounds great.Hi and Welcome! Take it easy if Kemper is new to you. It was new for me too a few month ago (still learning though). If you haven't yet, I'd suggest to read the manual and watch the videos. Helped me a lot....and of course this forum as well. Plenty of members willing to help

Hi and welcome.

If the IR appears in the Rig Manager preset area as a cabinet preset, the process has been successful. The name of the cabinet preset reflects the name of the original IR file.
Some IR collections have very long file names and have their unique identifiers towards the end of the file name. The cabinet preset names are limited to 20 characters. Longer names wouldn't be practical in the PROFILER anyhow. But the complete original IR file name is maintained in the Cabinet Comment tag.
Thanks, need to check the RM preset area.

the files need to be WAV files, with either 16 or 24 bits. IRs are not cabs, they are impulse responses. to convert an IR into a cabinet do the following:
- open Rig Manager
- select the place inside "Presets" location where you want to save the converted cabinets to
- goto "File > Convert Impulse Responses ..."
- select all the IRs you want to import
- select the cabinet in presets and drag it on the cabinet icon in the editor
you can also drag the WAV files into the Presets directory and Rig Manager will create Cabs from the IRs.
Tried that....doesn't seems to have any 'visual' clues that the process has been successful? I mean, in a weeks time I won't remember which cab has been converted. Is there a way to visually see what the cab has been swapped with a different IR? To be more specific. Any chance we could rename the CAB block to the specific IR and make it obvious?

Grande....anche se mi spiace un casino per la situazione in cui si trova l'Italia. Riguardati e forza che c'e la facciamo!

Thanks mate.

Hi @1oldplayer and welcome! Axe-FX 2 user but Stage owner here as well. I like em both but for rehearsal/gigging it'll be the Stage. I tweak way less with the Stage once you find the 'right' profile. Having said that there's a tonne of them on the Rig exchange!
Have fun with the Stage
