I have a "toaster" model - about 5 years old. It's been totally reliable until a few weeks ago, when all the display lights turn off after a varying period (from 2 mins after power up to a couple of hours), the display is dark (dead) and , it can't be shut down. No controls work, but scrolling through performances etc. is still possible on my remote.
It is intermittent, but getting more frequent and VERY annoying. I can only reset it by pulling out the power lead and waiting a few mins before restarting it.
I use it live. I had decided (even before this issue) to buy a Stage profiler so I can leave my toaster in my practice room/studio. This was for convenience, but it looks like this was essential given these issues. My Stage arrives later this week.
Does anyone have any advice? I guess sending it to Kemper in Germany is the best solution.
