Rigbusters: Liquid Profiles & Profiler Player Packs

    I have to say, I was sceptical of the idea when it was mentioned. But I've downloaded the free Klon and SS3 rigs. Forget about the pedal profiling side of it (which I honestly still don't quite get), these are killer sounding profiles in their own right!

    Well to me, the idea of profiling a pedal would be to use in front of your amp profile of choice, whether is be Vox, Marshall etc etc. Of course the KPA as it stands doesn't allow this - you can profile the pedal going into a particular amp. So, in my mind this isn't a pedal profile, it's an amp profile with that pedal in the chain. Doesn't really matter though, the profiles sound great.

    You are right when you say that we profile a pedal in front of a specific amplifier and then we also catch the soul of this one. We have decided to choose the Cornford MK50 because we think it has a crystal clean and so it can reveal the real soul of the pedals, but it's surely part of it.


    In the future, we will also profile pedals in front of different amplifiers...boutique and vintage...to give you a wide range of sounds and different shades of the same pedals.
