This sounds like a stage security issue, not something for the people at Kemper.
If if someone can touch your Kemper, they can steal it, or your guitar, etc.
Wow that sucks.
I think there are several products that can physically lock any USB input needed, placed in the usb input.
Search for USB lock or similar.
Edit:
A few products linked here after a quick search.

this can happen in any local in test etc .... There will be very difficult to put some protection for software for which you want to use.
Can't believe someone would try this.
Luckily for me I've been gigging for 19 years and not once has someone tried to steal any of my gear...... Touch wood
The best solution to avoid somebody steals your rigs is... to upload them in Rig Exchange!!!
Who wants to steal something that is already available for free?
Some kind of code or combination of buttons to lock the KPA would be useful. Like in digital mixers nowadays. In many cases after the soundcheck, there are many hours to gig and during that time it is sometimes hard to keep an eye on the gear.

Totally agree with you citizengain, that's what has happened to me. I can not be all hours watching my gear. This would be very easy to implement for the people of Kemper in an update.
There has to be an option in System Menu, that does not leave out any rig without putting a code, very simple.
No offense, but I am skeptical about the validity of this scenario.
For someone to steal your presets they would need to power on your Kemper and connect with some sort of USB - computer or flash drive - and navigate through a process to copy them to their device. The amount of time it would take and level of attention it might draw would surely give pause to anyone smart enough to know a Kemper well enough to even contemplate such an act.
Honestly, if they were going to steal anything they would just take the Kemper itself. While in theory I could see some value in what you are proposing, securing at a gig is your responsibility not Kemper's. There is a socket for a locking mechanism on the back - if you are really unable to keep an eye on your Kemper or secure it otherwise, you should probably invest in the cable locking device.

I don't know... maybe there is a black market for Kemper profiles run by an evil underground syndicate that employs Ninjas to show up at gigs to steal our commercial profiles.

You never understand, just to say you post things without criterion

Don´t know about the Ninjas, but the rest of your statement is true... sadly.
A USB port lock could prevent the copying of your KPA content. I think I saw a rig rundown recently where the guitarist stated that he uses port lock to protect the theft of profiles.

Thanks Bro!
Password protecting the external storage menu sounds like a good idea to me..........
I could definitely see a scenario where a studio owned Kemper for example, full of commercial profiles, would be a great target for an unscrupulous client with a USB stick in his pocket. Just one bathroom break for the engineer, and it's over. Now the client has a USB stick full of the studios commercial profiles.
Yeah, password protecting the External storage menu sounds like a good idea to me...............
yeah and entering password with the browse knob
That's the idea, so our team will be protected against thieves and people who do not want to touch our Kemper.
In the rehearsal happen many things and not the fault of anyone...
The password could be something as simple as a 4 digit numeric code. That would be enough of a deterrent for most.
Even cooler would be a button sequence passcode. Press the right combination of buttons (set by the user) , and your in.
