Cool stuff man! I actually almost bought this head over the weekend. Only reason why I didn't , it was used. I'm already stuck with one used head that needs repairs.

All my heads are second hand, couldn't afford to buy them all brand new.

If I had more knowledge about heads I would also buy used. I just don't want to save money on a used one and then pay someone to fix it. Just makes more sense to buy new in my case.

Well, a new head could cost say £1000... second hand could be £450/500... say there is a minor problem, valve or soldering... repair job less than £100... saving you a few hundred.

I live in the states (NJ) no repair work is cheap. Tubes alone are 100$ (Without installation)and that's for a mini head!

These profiles are doing well.
At least for my Suhr SC PUs which are picky and difficult to please.
The clean is warm and full without any tweak and that goes for the midgain as well.
Only the highgain profiles need to have the definition lowered at bit. (for my taste and ear)For my HB guitars everything plays out of the box.
I didn't try them out at my live gear so I had to use a speaker in the rig to play on my studio monitors.

This is such an underrated amp. I thought it wasn't really a Bogner until I tried Dan's profiles! Super versatile and cool! With the right cab these profiles shine!

Updated the pack this morning with my DL 2x12 inc profiles with V30s and then Fredman technique on my A-TYPE speakers as well.
I like these a lot - pretty smooth in the upper mids for solo tones and quite nice in the cleaner patches too.
