I've had no problems using a ground control pro or a rocktron midimate.
-
I use a SansAmp Midimoose. No expression pedals and that fine for what I need to accomplish. Mount's perfectly to my Pedaltrain. Likely not enough for what folks need for a switching rig.

Midi moose might be good till the kemper board is out, whats the battery life?or does it get phantom from the kemper?

No

No
guitarnet70 is absolutely correct. The MidiMoose never became popular. If your needs are few, I can assure it is built quite robustly. No bells, no whistles, bulletproof.

Battery life is very long on both the MIDI MOOSE and Midi Mouse, they're great for a very basic set up just to change patches, very well built too.

I'm using a POD HD 500 as Midi controller for the KPA.
Advantage: I have a backup with me on stage. At home, I'm using my Behringer FCB1010 to control the KPA.
Advantage: 10 instead of 8 presets accessible withou bank switch. -
I'm using a (discontinued) Axess Electronics MFC5. It has a really small footprint and it's very powerful and fully programmable. It's also really sturdy and reliable.
It has only 5 switches (2 to switch between banks and 3 for presets), but I can even control the tap tempo and access the tuner with them. -
I just got the ground control, I will try and set it up this weekend.
It should be crazy because I have never set midi board. -

Does anyone know if the MFC101 work well with the Kemper?
Thanks, Chris -
No reason it should not, probably the best FC on the market

Uau
Do you believe it's more versatile that the Gordius? (serious question :))
-
I don't like the design of the Gordius, but that is just me.

I can not imagine a MIDI Footcontroller being more versatile than the Gordius (serious answer )
@Guitarnet: y? Is it just the look or do you dislike the shape?
