My effects options disappeared

I'm running 1.06. When I go to an effect and turn the "browse" knob, nothing comes up. It's completely empty. Amps and cabs are fine. Effects are done. However, the existing effects are still there. I just can't see anything in browse mode.

I reloaded the factory rigs and all is well. Not sure what happened though and why the effects went away in the browser. Thoughts?
