I'm not sure how the Remote communicates with the main unit, but I've also had significant latency issues with wah movement when connected to a MIDI controller and the MIDI controller is sending data to the KPA. Enough to where I gave up and just use a regular wah in that situation.
First gig with my KPA - a couple issues with the Remote, including serious issues with the wah.....
