    You can chose the screen layout in System Settings. With display layout A you see the eight effect modules with the effect type and the number of the assigned Effect Button in it.

  • Kemper Legends Tribute Collection

    We just released this new Rig pack, which is inspired by the classic guitar tones you all know and love from the classic recordings of the most iconic pop, rock and metal artists. Starting with the clean, compressor and flanger infused tele sounds from the three policemen to the abrasive transistor amp tones of the "solitaire" riffing beast, who died much too soon.

    OS 8.0.2 introducing the new effect types Kemper Drive and Full OC is now elevated to release level!


    Rig Manager 3.0.140 required!


    PROFILER Stage users can immediately update to this revision regardless of the OS version currently installed!


    To upgrade classical PROFILER models via USB memory stick from OS versions before OS 7.3, OS 7.3.2 needs to be installed first!

    Older versions than OS 7.3 on classical models don't recognize this new integrated OS revision.

    For this purpose OS 7.3.2 can be found on the Download Page at Older Software Versions.

  • Store Equalizer Settings in the output menu?

    The Output Section is global and not part of a Rig. You should optimize your sounds using the tonestack of the amp or other equalizer effects e. g. Studio Equalizer. The output equalizers are intended to align with different monitoring, FOH, and recording environments.

    Das Verhalten ist nicht zufällig, sondern folgt dieser Logik: Solange man editiert, bleiben Änderungen erhalten. Wenn man performt, werden Änderungen beim Wechsel zu einem anderen Slot sofort verworfen und beim nächsten Laden erscheint der Slot wieder wie gespeichert.


    Editieren ist, wenn man am Front Panel den Slot wechselt und/oder wenn die Performance gleichzeitig in Rig Manager geöffnet ist. Performen ist, wenn man mit einem Fusspedal (auch MIDI) die Slots wechselt und kein Rig Manager verbunden ist.

  • Die Morph Funktion reagieren nicht so wie man das Erwarten würde.

    Das ist so und das soll auch so sein. Sonst könnte es ja beim Rig-Wechsel zu unvorhersehbaren Überraschungen kommen: Nehmen wir an, in einem Rig wird der Delay Mix geregelt. Man stellt sich mit dem Pedal irgendeine Mittelposition ein. Jetzt lädt man ein anderes Rig, in dem der Pitch eines Chromatic Pitch zwischen 0 und +12 für Morphing angelegt ist. Jetzt will man wahrscheinlich nicht, dass der Pitch mal bei +7 und mal bei +5 startet, je nachdem wie im vorherigen Rig der Delay Mix stand. Also wird immer auf Base Sound zurückgesetzt und der Sound des neuen Rigs dadurch vorhersehbar.


    Beim Laden eines neuen Rigs steht Morphing immer unabhängig von der physischen Pedal-Stellung auf Base Sound und kann dort mit dem Pedal abgeholt werden, ohne dass es zu Sprüngen kommt (soft catch). Zu Abweichungen zwischen dem Morphing Controller und dem physischen Pedal kann es auch kommen, wenn man Morphing auch noch mit einem Taster oder per MIDI steuert. Die Steuerung per Pedal ist ja nicht exklusiv. Und immer wirkt "soft catch".

  • Solved: Looper pedal problem

    Youneed to activate an effect loop in one of the effect modules e. g. Loop Mono. Without an effect loop in the current Rig you are using the DIRECT OUT not in its capacity as effect send output. Aux In is also a different feature. Dial all Aux In>Mix controls to minimum.

  • Ist es möglich , den Output, System oder Input Sektion beim Profiler Stage zu sperren?

    Das ist so beabsichtigt. Nicht alle Parameter der Output-Sektion werden im Preset gemerkt. Ansonsten bestünde die Gefahr, dass einem beim Laden eines Output-Presets durch einen plötzlichen Lautstärkesprung das Blech wegfliegt.

  • Kemper Drive ohne presets

    Man kann auf das OS 8.0.2 Public Beta per Rig Manager oder per USB-Stick upgraden. Wenn man sich für Rig Manager entscheidet, muss in dessen Preferences "Beta" ausgewählt sein, sonst schlägt Rig Manager ausschließlich Release-Versionen vor.


    Aber der Content kommt nicht automatisch mit dem Upgrade des OS. Solange OS 8.0 Public Beta ist, kann man die neuen Presets nur von unserer Download-Seite herunterladen und mit USB-Stick importieren. Diese neuen Presets gibt es noch nicht in Rig Manager, weil sie mit dem jetzigen Release OS 7.5 nicht kompatibel sind. Der Factory Content in Rig Manager ist noch auf Stand 7.5. Sobald es demnächst ein OS 8.0 Release geben wird, wird es auch in Rig Manager einen passenden Factory Content 8.0 geben, der diese neuen Presets enthält.

  • Unable to update profiler via USB stick or Rig manager

    I can only say, that up to now each time we are trying to verify a perceived generic USB-stick limitation, we do fail. The PROFILER even accepts all kinds of file systems. If a stick is not FAT32, the PROFILER suggests to reformat. However, sometimes single USB sticks have hickups. I once experienced myself, that a stick that used to work seemlessly, suddenly was not recognized anymore by my PC, while my wife's PC showed no issues with that very same stick. After a repair the stick worked again on all PCs. But these are no generic issues of any types or brands or sizes of USB sticks nor specific to the PROFILER.


    Regarding the cable ... with just 10 feet you could try a standard off the shelf LAN cable for your home studio
