Thanks guys, any tips on favourite profiles etc..?
Hi guys,
Just wondered if anyone here is running the KPA through a power amp/cab setup. I love the tones direct but I just spent 20 mins playing via my Matrix PA and Marshall 2x12 Cab and the results were all over the place. Just wondered what people are doing and if you have any Fav profiles for running in this setup?
Cheers

Sounds really great on the clip, can't wait to get my greasy mitts on this
Hi guys,
I recorded these clips a few days ago but couldn't post here as my account was not activated. I recorded the intro to Sad but True and a quick made up idea to show off toneclone's Recto and tylerhb's cab. I wasn't going for a Metallica type tone as such but I had the midi drums for Sad But True and decided to give it a go. Let me know what you think?

sounds superb, anyone know if the profile used is available for download?
spence
You have to halve that number as everyone had to sign up twice, once before their KPA arrived and again afterwards so that they can reply to threads.
Only joking [Blocked Image: http://kemper-amps.com/library/wcf/images/smilies/biggrin.png]
This profile rocks!!! Thanks for sharing.

Looking forward to giving this a go. Thanks for sharing.

no problem man ...where are all the "MESA Rectifier/Peavey 6505" poweruser???
Thanks for sharing Markus, can't wait to test these out! I used to have a Dual Rectifier but it got stolen from my lockup
Here is a profile of my Hook Captain EL34 on the clean channel with Bright on, all tone controls at 12 o clock. Sounds pretty nice to me Cab is Marshall 1936 with G12T75s, mic was sure sm57 on axis at the cone. Let me know what you think?
Spence
That would be cool Spence. If you need somewhere to turn your amp up as loud as you like to profile Gimmie a shout I have a lockup in digbeth Your welcome there anytime
I'm up for that! It's not at Muthers is it? Wherever it is it sounds like a plan, I've got a 1971 Marshall Super tremolo modded by the guy who did Slash's AFD amp. I've also got the Hook and a couple of 4x12s (An Engl v30s and G12T75s and Marshall with Greenbacks). I should also be able to get my hands on an Engl Screamer Combo.
I'll PM you my number and we can get something sorted.
Spence
Thanks for uploading ill have a play with it later Are you the chap from Birmingham?
That's me
I need to spend some quality time with my KPA but I'm loving it so far. Just had a quick go at profiling my Hook Capitan EL34 on clean (can't work a valve amp hard enough for crunch tones to sound good at home). Still not sure I know what I'm doing though....
We'll have to meet up or something.

Hi Guys,
This is my first profile so go easy on me It's a Randall Warhead (First version) Through a Marshal 1936 2x12 with G12t75 Celestions. I miced it up with an SM57 on Axis on the cone. Sounds OK, might be useful for someone. I also included a Tube Screamer in the Rig to tighten the lows and increase the gain.
The profile seems quiet compared to some of the built-in rigs etc.. Anyone know how to fix this?
Hope it's ok [Blocked Image: http://kemper-amps.com/library/wcf/images/smilies/cool.png]
