I'm not an Axe FX hater by any means, and I think its a great unit... but, these videos do not showcase the axe fx II. The tone is not great. I don't know whats going on there. Is it just me?
I thought the tone was good considering what youtube does to it. I would love to hear that raw files from the mixer. -
Excellent!!!

Good profiles.

Very cool. I don't think I will retrofit. I will leave the heavier ones at home and gig with the neo's.

Tokai made the Fender Japan 68 RI for Fender from 1997 to 2011...they don't make them for Fender any more...get one (Fender Japan) online from Ishibashi.
Don't forget, Jimi's 68 Strats didn't have reverse headstocks.
Yea I know but they look cool. -
Do you have/make a 68' ish Fender "Jimi" with reverse headstock

FYI - to Support
I didn't notice in earlier fw's but in System Setting Page 8 "Rig Management" > Erase Non-Favourites
"Erasing all rigs but Favouries and "MyRigs"
Favorites is mispelled

I'd like to know. Not going to load the beta yet.
-
Basically you get a profile pack for free. But of course I ended up buying more
-
Just want to make sure that there is no difference in 2.1.1. svn8823 release as the beta 2.1.1. svn8823. I cant update as the Kemper sees the same file version.

Great Review!
In a much shorter post, I will have to concur with you on the CLR's. They are great and I couldn't be happier.
-
Got a CLR with my KPA. Wow. Wow wow.
I had a lot of speaker set ups in the past but this takes em all. -

Line 6 and other companies also measure and probe amps with signals to get better modeling.
It's still based on component modeling and IR's which is completely different from what profiling is doing.
I guess it means another unavoidable total amp remake and re-tweak of the axe patches again with this firmware.
It will be fun to try it and compare with the previous axe firmware.Doesn't sound like profiling or tone matching to me. Looks like is getting even closer to emulating the actual circuit.
QuoteMIMIC has the advantage of applying these corrections at the appropriate location in the amp model rather than as just an output EQ so that the various controls of the model behave virtually identically to the actual amp.

Cant wait to see the price...

I see this has feet. Could this be the defacto chango? So our version would go away and everything will now be rack version or both?
What's up? -
-
Probably not worth it.
I have the Soundside one's and they are so-so for the most part, a few good ones.
Since the Axe FX II is reported to have undergone a Kemperonian change between V5 and V9, I'd wait until someone does a V9 before wanting to try them.
Did you like that new use of the Creator's name?
lol.
