Andy, I notice there are no Bassman 'cranked' or 'full' in the pack (whereas there are for the deluxe, concert, princeton, and bandmaster).
Is there a reason for this?
-
Thanks Andy, just purchased. I'm going to have a good weekend.

This is my plan, hence why I extended it.. fingers crossed!
Excellent news. I've got everything crossed.

Hi Andy,
Will the 2nd Fender Pack be out in time for this offer?

Hi CK,
I set my clean sense anywhere between 6-9 (using the old scale). None of my clean sense is below 5 on any profile (or with any guitar, single coil and humbuckers).

I agree. I have zero interest in the rack version due to its colour. The dar coloured versions have always looked a bit 'army' looking to me.
I wouldn't mind a second Kemper and would probably chose a rack for variation as I already have a toaster. Only if it was white though.
-
Thanks Oraakkeli, can't wait to try these as your previous ones are right at the top of my list in terms of quality.
-
If you type in 'tophat' into the rig exchange search box, they come up.

I didn't know the knobs on the rack version were so 'solid' feeling (I'd assumed they'd be like the toaster version).
The knobs on the toaster version do feel very cheap. Each one wiggles slightly when turning it and does not have a satisfying feel to them. Really lets the unit down seeing as everything else is perfect.

On some rock profiles they are hot on input should I lower the distortion sense until input led only shows yellow?
Don't worry, testing out lowering the knob controlling the distortion sense will not break the profiler!
Just twiddle all the knobs and you'll soon learn what each does.

Is there a reason why the stomp volume cannot be programmed to go down to zero?
On a lot of profiles I have them set perfect to my ears. I'd ideally like the option of adding a distortion stomp to these profiles without changing anything on the profile apart from the distortion settings.

I'm intrigued.
What made you think 'Browser' and 'Perform' were 'Rhythm' and 'lead' settings?

Analogman Sunface and a Soulbender

One of these three was very nice and unique sounding. Good stuff.

Thanks for commenting and providing that info CK.
I must have had one of the 2012 ones (bought in July 2012). I bought mine online from Guitarguitar here in the UK.
About 11 of my LED's have now gone. What procedure should I follow to get the unit repaired? (I'm worried that contacting an online dealer over a year after purchase might be an issue)?
-
I had some LEDs gone. Shipped my unit back to Thomann.
The repair took over 1 month.
All my LEDs are working currently... knock on wood...This is why I'm extremely reticent to send my unit off for repair despite the 11 LED's that have now gone. I don't want to be without the unit for that long.
However, I think that when my 15th LED goes, that'll be when I send it back. I'm also risking it being out of warranty if I wait too long. How long is the warranty by the way? I've had my Kemper since July last year.
There must be something going wrong somewhere. LED's just don't go at this frequency normally. Is there a poll somewhere showing how many people have had this issue?
-
The release date will probably coincide with the timing of my last Kemper LED blinking out.:)
-
That's well out of order.
I filled the survey in and would have even without the offer of a free profile, just so Andy could get feedback and improve (not that I think things need improving, certainly not on the profiling front).
Maybe in future, people should have to put the serial number of their Kempers in, or something like that.

My cab doesn't have anything on there about Left or Right, or IN/OUT. It just says 8 ohms... hmm....
Is it okay for me to go from the Monitor output of the kemper to the input A of the Matrix, then from OUtput A of the Matrix to my cab? Will it matter that i'm only using one side of the power amp? That's exactly as I do it. Monitor output of kemper to input A of the Matrix, then output A of the Matrix to one input of the cab.
