And to make it even worse: There are threads with posts written after December 2020 but these threads are not all shown as unread.

Hello to everyone!
I think before today my last login for reading threads was in December 2020 (I was logged in later but not for reading threads). When I now read my personal unread threads they seem to all start on posts written in February 2021. Any ideas?

Hm...the noise sounds like some interference coming from a mobile phone, the lights in your room, a wireless mouse/keyboard or maybe the socket. Try ruling out these things.

Hm...strange. Does the Stage have Ground Lift Buttons like the head?
-
Did you try another cable? If you have one, try TRS instead of TS.
-
And the signal is still clipping? If yes turn down the Kemper's Output until it doesn't clip anymore. Or enable the -12 dB within the Output Menu.
-
I think you should use Input 1 and on the back side switch to LO-Z.

Is there some switch for Line Level in your AI and did you activate it?

Daddario Planet Waves cables
I meant XLR or TS?

What Audio Interface und what cable do you use?

I set up my rig at home and dialed in some sounds
This is likely the problem you had. For live and rehearsal purposes tweak at the level you'll play. Google and "Fletcher Munson" will make things clear.

The alternative input has more purposes than just guitar input. If it would work like you want, it would have no other function. But what about an external A/B solution?

There are Noise Gates in the Kemper.

thanks, all. Kempermaniac - re-read the manual and I thought that's what you would do. thanks for clearing that up.
buckynuts - if you use the Main Outs, you don't get to use the Kone imprints, correct or am I missing something?
You're welcome.
No imprints via the Main Outs.

how are you guys running stereo out of the Kemper into the two channels of the LXII?
Use Monitor and Direct Out. Enable "Monitor Stereo" in Output menu.

What about routing the signal to the Kemper's Alternative Input and hearing everything through the Kemper's Headphone Out? I've read several posts regarding the quality of Headphones Outs of mid-range interfaces being inferior compared to the Kemper's Out.

Maybe you're only getting the impression that it's "much different". Headphone Out is stereo and directly to your ears which can be a huge perceived difference to mono and monitors (connected to the XR18) which are a few feet away from you.
