Top profiles. Really nails the many facets of the Mark IV sound. Not just the JP sounds although they are definitely there! Great to have the boosted and un boosted profiles for each setting. Top job and killer amp!

Definitely the second.
Intrestingly i sold a bunch of BKPs and replaced them with SD. My guitars (Les Pauls/Strats) sounded a tonne better with the SD's. It would be very interesting if I've chosen the Cold Sweat, especially considering that i had and sold that pickup!

Yes, would be great to bring the treble up to 7 if possible
-
A small pack would be great. Thanks

Will try these. What do the SAT, FAT and C45 switches do exactly?
-
awesome. Some of my favourite profiles going and I've tried many commercial ones. If you want the Friedman sound this is it!! The boosted addition sounds fantastic

Lead 2 for the win!!

The clean request was just because I like to arrange performance mode on an individual amp and profiler basis. Just nice to have consistency across the board

I have a furman pl8. It's useful for powering a few things at a time. I used to use it in my rack and it powered my Mesa and g system at the time. No hiss issues but I'm not sure if the furman was the reason. Nowadays I use it in my home studio to power monitors and the keeper. I had noise issues caused by a dimmer and the conditioner did not solve them. But again it's convenient to power multiple items. Not sure I think the power conditioner has that great an benefit on hiss etc but my model was particularly expensive

Will you be doing any clean profiles?
-
absolutely top draw. Thanks!! Im with Vesmedic...with a touch of treble and the clarity knob (great call with that) its perfect for my Les Paul. Fantastic job!! Id be more than happy if you profiles the others in exactly the same way

Tbh I'm very keen to hear the smallbox. I was ready to buy a one but circumstances changed. It seemed like the perfect choice. The Pink Taco was only one channel but the HBE was overly powerful. On paper the Smallbox was the one but i never got to try one nor have I heard any good players demoing. So yeah, HBE is the one but don't forget the Smallbox
Maybe you could set the cab and mic positions up and then just switch the heads and get a bunch of profiles using the same mic positions. Then repeat using different positions if required. Or am i asking too much???
-
Cool guys!
Yeah he is ridiculous. No doubt mostly in the fingers!! Anything you can get close too that tone then brill.
Nick Johnston also gets some pretty sweet tones with a start and the HBE.

Well i love the Friedmans!! TAF has profiled some Friedmans but from what I'm aware never uses the SM57 and as a result the profiles sound very vintage. They all have that signature TAF sound but id love to hear something more modern. These amps are known for searing modern day rock tone so id love an SM57 tight on the grill providing at least 90% of the tone - if your able to mix mics you could perhaps take the edge of it with a condenser?? Nothing fancy - just classic
Either way, I like your first HBE profiles. Im not sure how you set it control wise but for me i had to take of a little bass and mid and add some treble to get it cooking with my Les Paul. But thats what the Kemper tone controls are made for Have you seen the Rappaport vids?? Can you get this?

Yeah no problems. Had a quick blast and sound pretty good. A touch dark but dial some extra treble in and I quite like it. Great amp, wish we had more profiles.
thanks!

So these cannot or should not be used with the current official firmware?
-
Cheers. Yeah just small and portable if my Adams are too loud. I'm not interested in mixing on them, just a nice small speaker to practise with without annoying the neighbours
-
Anybody using the m-audio av30 studiophile monitors with their kemper? I'm conscious of volume in my new apartment with my usual Adam a7x possibly being too loud. I thought these little 3inch speakers might be suitable for practise and jamming? Any thoughts ?

I had the clock error message as well. But since Yosemite, absolutely no problems.

Yes. Same machine. My problem was with spdif in Mavericks. Depending on my setting within the mix control I would get clicks either playing or recording and would constantly have to switch. I prefer the sound of the analogue connection luckily but it was a pain if I wanted to use spdif. Luckily spdif has no such issues in Yosemite
