Just stopping by to say hello to some old and new faces, I am a long time kemper user, and have just endorsed the product which is great
I have tried to put a link to my/our music on the link page but it is private so you will all have to wait for some tasty isolated solo tracks and videos of devilment. Here is one little one for a taster recorded with an evh 5150iii profile we did at the studio.

Hi there I am trying to record the kemper in my DAW but having some issue's.
I am using a macbook pro in to an rme babyface then in to kemper etc..
When I monitor a mix its in stereo in both headphones.
When I use my axe fx its in stereo through cans, but with kemper its v loud in one ear and almost silent in the other.
I have changed output from main to direct and set output options to mono or stereo but with no difference.
I am a little confused. -

is anyone selling a kemper on here at all.

From the FAQ Page:
"Can I profile just my pre amp?
Yes you can! Instead of feeding the microphone signal back, simply plug the effect send output of your amp head into the Return of the KPA. When you profile just the pre-amp, the virtual cabinet is without content, so you will not hear any difference when you switch it on or off.
When you connect the Main Outputs or the Monitor Output of the KPA with the effect return jack of your amp head, you will get the same sound as you get with your real amp. If you don't want to reconnect to your original amp, then simply choose a cabinet from another profile in the Kemper Amp."Do you not need to have a load box to do this????

I take it you're basing your opinion on specs and not having heard the Atomics 1st-hand?if you mean by having played and owned the atomics then yes you must be correct.... silly me.
-
It is absolutely a myth and feeds into the whole anti digital craze. People have often misinterpreted Class D to mean an amp is digital when in fact it only describes the method the switching is controlled. If nothing else, it is an absolute fact that Class D designs are way more efficient as compared to Class A/B designs.
..... oh dear

ola enguland used his on the sfu tour and had no issues he said

awesome cant wait to try this!!!!
-
sorted guys lovely!!!!
now to try and get the octaves to remain as clear as chugga in a death metal band mix for live use.... wish me luck -
nothing no sound.
I have the monitor output set to mono out?
or do i need guitar+processing???
could not work it out at practice.
Btw the kemper sounded great at rehersal when chugga chugga but the single notes were getting lost in the live band mix
I play metal btw so things like octaves and solos were just thin sounding, but then when rythm playing huge.... -
i plug monitor out in to matrix and then out in to cab and i get no sound at all.
When you use the cab sim off on monitor output the stereo main outputs keep the cab sim active so you can use your Marshall cab as monitor while you send the full chain (cab sim included) to FOH.

thank you btw

ok cool ill try that then what can i run to f.o.h. with can sims on... direct out?

hi guys got a question for you all.
i am running the kemper with a matrix gt1000fx and 2x matrix cfr12 frfr monitors.
Now this sounds great and is almost perfect with cab sims on other than the generic plastic attack on some high gain models but no way as bad as my axe fx.
The question i have is that for smaller gigs i run the kpa with the matrix in to a marshall 4x12 1960av.... now i can just turn off the cab sim but.... i get this high end rattle on some profiles like a buzzing on top of the profiled sound. I am going out of main out from kpa in to matrix gt1000fx. Any ideas??? Many thanks -
get kemper and then profile your amp, THEN sell
Can;t say what its like to play live with kemper, a few others can perhaps, but the cab and sound out of the kemper into my studio monitors is stellar to my liking...
I have always liked a good amp and cab pushing air live though, but have done the moddeler thing before to varying degrees of satisfaction. i did this with my 5150 its spot on!!!.
