If he would only share his profiles even tho some Amp Factory profiles get close already (if someone has some profiles that fit a JM sound, I'm interested)
Yep, got the trackingnumber aswell...
only bad thing here is, that I also have a tracking-nr for my Kemper to send it in because of USB problems
Yep mine too
nr: 20020

#20018 hit it in the same time-window
Also changed to "In Progress" yesterday.

All fine, I did not profile in a year or so
this explains & clarifies a lot, so I'm gonna use these profiles without feeling bad. And yes, I know lot of Andys profiles and he is an artist in profiling
Some of your rigs hold And44 as creator (for the Cabs at least)
Why that? Makes me think of Andys profiles being reused - maybe this is just a bug in the RigManager or the names have been copied.
Still some clarification on this would be helpful
by the way, the Amps sound great
Daniel
How about for these reasons for example:
- Fixing bugs
- Implementing new important features
- Implementing Rig Manager etc.
- Presenting KPA on different masses/events etc.
And most important, it needs to be produced aswell.
how did you guys receive the code if i may ask?
This is a loyality code. So I expect you should have gotten one if you have ever bought a profile of the amp factory.
I tried to purchase the "Studio Devils"-bundle, but the loyal code doesn't work though I typed it in manually (instead of just pasting it) to avoid having control characters in the string. I have already contacted Andy and received a different loyal code from him but it didn't work either. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Hi,
yes had the same issues. Best is, if you login first, then readd the bundle to the Cart and then using the loyality code.
Somehow it cleans your Cart when you do a login and the code does not work then.
You can stay in the browse-window when you turn the browse knob and then navigate by the rig keys (top/right/bottom/up)
This will make you stay in the browse-window. When you delete a rig you don't have to go back to the browse-window.
I use this method but I have not gotten rid of all my unused profiles yet
And what's the benefit?
When you plug your stick into your kemper it shows the version-nr on the screen, when it asks to install the firmware.
As an alternative just create a copy of the file in the folder and rename it to your desire. If you want to install a particular version, copy/rename kaos_2.1.1_8853.bin to kaos.bin and you're ready to go.
by the way, checking the date of the file may helps you to identify the right version.
i am once again surprised how forgiving and positive you guys are. it bothers me bying a product knowing that there is a big chance that those leds will fail...
First of all, I have no LED that has passed away on my unit. I have never had any issues on my KPA and the sound is just perfect.
The chance that LEDs will fail might be existing but if so you're under warranty and can get this fixed - or you just don't mind and accept it.
Honestly I wouldn't need any of the LEDs to be happy except for the input/output ones (for clipping).
Regards,
Daniel
I love the TAF Dr. Z Carmen Ghia, the Blues profile.
it's probably a little bit over mid-gain when on full-volume
also the Bassman profiles (several from TAF) do this job pretty well on my side

Looking forward for the 2rock John Mayer
