Just as the topic states, does anyone know if the Kemper US store charges state sales tax on a purchase?
Thanks in advance!

Display MoreOne way that i can think of is to add an DA converter and use SPDIF to output the DLY/REV Wet portion and use Monitor Out for the Stack portion for your onstage monitoring . Link for Monitor and SPDIF out are checked so you can control the stage volume from the Master Volume.
Main Output would deliver the Master Stereo signal. Main Out link is unchecked to deliver a constant level to FOH.
A different approach would need to send a w/d/w signal to FOH:
Main Output set to carry the DLY/REV Wet portion and Direct Out for the Stack portion going to FOH. Both Outputs unlinked.
The Headphone Output (linked) for the DLY/REV Wet portion and Monitor Out (linked) for the Stack portion to your onstage monitoring.
Thanks! Another way I was thinking of was to send the wet stereo effects to my JBLs, and Monitor out(dry stack) to say a TC Bam200, which I believe has a direct out, the JBLs also have a direct line out, so I could then send all 3 signal to FOH.
Question. If I wished to use a wet/ dry /wet setup, using the Kabinet for the dry, and two powered monitors for the wet effects, how would I then be able to send a combined signal(dry + effects) to the FOH system?
Here's hoping the powered Kemper Kabinet won't be far behind. It seems like far more non powered Kemper Profilers have sold, but I could be way off, or why else would they concentrate on non powered Kabinets? So, like many others, I'm not going to invest in a separate amp, as I will just wait for the powered version of the Kabinet.
Thanks guys!!! I'll be putting my Boss SY 1000 in there. The Kemper delays and reverbs will send this baby to the moon.
Well, I tried to establish " Loop Stereo", in the "X slot", but there was a message in the main window, "Effect loop not possible, Aux input is used". Well there is nothing in the aux input, as I am using only the Front input, and that is verified in my "Input setting". went through all system and rig settings, and saw nothing that would indicate the Aux input is being used, and there is nothing plugged into the Aux input. Could this be some sort of "bug"? OS release 6.0.0.14574. Any ideas why?
Something I've been wondering about. I am hoping I can run the out of a guitar synth, into the Stereo return of my Kemper, without using the send output. The idea is to utilize the same delay and reverb settings for both the guitar ,(through the pre stack effects, and into the amp), and the synth though only the delay and reverb effects, via the stereo loop function. Have not yet seen a tutorial on it. Has anyone done this? Is it possible? Thanks in advance!
Scott, how does the warranty work with buying second hand, and how much time is left on it?
My Roland guitar models are all I use, and they sound great, so most likely you can be successful with the Variax.
For the personal monitoring of your core tone and guitar/speaker interaction, a guitar cab always wins, and for clarity of time based effects I think FRFR wins...
^^^This is what I think will be optimal. Two FRFR powered wedges for effects, with a Kemper Kabinet in the center, for the dry profiler amp only, for the W/D/W sound. It seems like they would sell a whole lot more powered Kemper Kabinets, than passive ones. I am curious as to whether Kemper has sold more powered Profilers than unpowered, including the Stage. If so, then I am surprised, as I would have thought the unpowered Profilers would dwarf the powered ones in units sold.
How much does the Kabinet weigh?
Maybe this thread should be named "the Comedy Corner"?
Update.. Just tried it out and both units have to be on, so will the splitter do what I want to do ?
Should work just fine.
Just go FCB midi out to midi in on the kemper and midi thru out of the Kemper to midi in on the Axe.
EV 12" SRO would be nice.
Better not block the bottom air vent.

Why are users updating to the new beta with their Stage units? The download page says clearly NOT to upgrade for the Stage. Is it just because Rig manager is saying to? I am expecting a Stage next week, and wish to know.
