I'm with you on that- some of them you can tell would be good if it wasn't for that issue. I'm nt an engineer so I'm stickin to one mic when I profile.

I've noticed the phase issue also on multiple mic profiles- it drives me nuts but others don't seem to mind it.

Or you could just use your ears, see what sounds good to you and in the mix & call it a day.

Hey Pete, ever try an AT 2020? I have one laying around that I've wanted to try. BTW, your Bogner profiles kill- worth every cent- thx much!
-
Like the song & your voice too- wish I would have learned to sing way back!

Wow, these are awesome Maurizio-thanks! My band used to cover One & I never got as close as these get me. I'm not a U2 expert either, especially the FX settings so these really help.
Which one of these would you suggest for Vertigo? We still do that one sometimes...

Thanks Pete-these are great- looks like I'll be gettin the rest. Are there a few lower gain of the blue channel in there?
-
These are great- like the ones with the stock cabs best. I'm not an AC30 expert by any stretch but these are the best I've heard for my needs. My band does a few Queen & U2 covers & these nail them. Thanks!

Any of his Mod/Rework Plexis. A Rockstah amp profile would be cool also.

Not super rare but I'd love to see a Roccaforte HG100 and a David Bray Marshall!

The Fender/Marshall tonestack observations and approach make perfect sense. I guess that's the reason I love your profiles so much. Sure you have to go through all of different tone/gain settings but you end up finding the perfect ones for your guitar. Your Plexi is a good example. I've picked a few jumpered one for rhythm & a max gain bright channel for leads. More gain added to the bright channel darkens it just enough for me to cut but not harsh at all. Basically, just like the real thing!

Agreed! I downloaded this over the weekend. Love how the pedals kick it up also. Plenty of gain but still responsive & refined. Many thanks for this one!

I played an outdoor gig yesterday and used Armin's Plexi & VH4 for the whole gig. Soundguy who has been a tour manager for major bands was very complimentary of the tone & KPA.
Wish I could share audio but don't think anyone recorded. It was blistering hot in the 90s. Happy to say no glitches from my KPA, QSC K10 or the HD500 I use for control. this rig rules!

Like Armin's profiles a lot- just tried the Vox and it's one of the few AC30s I really like. Totally agree on the Elmwood cab- very upfront and clear with lots of mids that cut nicely.
-
Oh, and +1 on the Shiva- please Armin!
-
Totally agree. I originally bought the VH4 & Plexi and just upgraded to both bundles. I feel like I could gig with just those 2 amps for a long time. The VH4 sounds exactly like my old amp with minimal tweaking. Haven't even got to the Mesas yet. I'm dying to hear the DSL also!
Armin's profiles are the best in my box and not by just a little bit!

Just got time to check out the Elmwood- very nice. I'm glad you included some brighter ones for LPs! I like how you do that with all your profiles so you can find the magic one for a specific guitar. Btw, the Elmwood clean really surprised me. Tough one now is deciding which 2 singles to pick Armin!

Thanks Armin- just picked up the full Bundle IV- already have the Diezel from that one and continue to be amazed!

Great news! Yes, the sag is a great feature, especially for a tight amp like the VH4. After gigging the VH4 for 5 years I switched to an Einstein 50 to get a bit looser feel but similar tone. With your profiles of the VH4 I can get exactly that. I for one love how you organize the profiles EQ. I was using the Plexi tonight & switched to my P90 LP. Because you included the bright, normal & jumpered I was able to find exactly what I needed for that guitar! What amps are you doin next Armin?

I've owned & gigged 2 Diezels, VH4 and the Einstein. They tend to be darker thicker amps. I liked these profiles a lot. Sounded more in the room to me than a lot of other profiles. Never owned a Hagen but they had that Diezel signature to them. Didn't find them too dark for me but YMMV.
