Very cool. Thanks Michael.

Hey Michael, can't wait to hear it. I assume you used the '78 Marshall 50W profiles. Any others?
When you have time, I'd love to have a list of the songs where you used our profiles!

No, I'm still way back on 2.4. Time to update.
-
Thank you very much for the kind words. I'm glad the profiles we're providing are inspiring folks to make great music!
We recorded the demos for the '60 Champ last night, and the '59 Twin a few nights ago. Will release these soon. '59 Harvard and '64 Vibroverb soon thereafter.
Michael, again, fantastic clips!

Hey JuLai,
Very nice. I was curious if I could get that tone using my '57 reissue Strat. I tweaked the Jubilee profile "TJ-Jubilee Nrm Low-2" a bit for the recording. Increased Middle to 2.5, reduced Treble to -0.5. Neck pickup. I like the tone.

Yeah, I've got 4 really cool Fenders that I'm making demos for now. '64 Vibroverb, '59 Twin, '59 Harvard, '60 Champ. Hopefully in the next week or two.

Hey VESmedic,
The mic procedure leans heavily on the SM57, which gives that old school sound. That mic rolls off some of the low end and some of the extreme highs, and has plenty of mids. I find this type of EQ works fabulously in mixes. The Greenbacks also do this to the tone. I do profiles with V30s as well as the Greenbacks to get more variation.
My personal favorite profiles are almost always the ones with the Greenbacks, except for clean tones. I'm old school.

Hey JuLai,
Sorry, the speaker used on many of the Greenback profiles is mislabeled as being V30's. Sorry about that. The profiles with the smoother high end and more low mids are using the Greenbacks.

The profile from the second clip is "TJ-Jubilee Ld High-2".
-
Hey gibson,
It's one of the lead channel high gain profiles, or "Ld High". Almost all the profiles are in pairs, with one being done with V30 speakers and the other with Greenbacks. The profile for this part of the clip is using Greenbacks. I'll get the exact name of the profile for you tonight.

I was thinking of re-profiling the 5150III because there was something that just didn't translate into the profiles the first time.

Thanks guys. Glad you're enjoying the Jubilee. It's very different from any other Marshall I've played or profiled. The lead channel is gainier than the vintage amps. The normal channel sounds, frankly, awful until you turn on the clipping diodes. Then -- WOW -- what a fantastic crunch tone. The preamp is very different from other Marshalls. Took a while to get it dialed in, but well worth the effort.

Hey Kemperites,
We're happy to announce the availability of profiles of an '87 Marshall Silver Jubilee head.
The Silver Jubilee amps were designed to celebrate Marshall's 25th anniversary and Jim Marshall's 50th year in music. This is a fantastic-sounding, two-channel amp (Normal and Lead). It's a bit of a hybrid between the vintage Marshalls of old and the more modern, higher-gain amps of today. People love these amps and they've become highly collectible -- for good reason.
Notable users include Joe Bonamassa, John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Slash. We think you'll love it.

Just finished the demo recording last night. Profiles should be available in a few days, I hope.
-
I hear you on the Bluesbreaker. Been looking for one to profile for quite some time. I'll keep looking!
-
Will do. I'll get it done ASAP. Some really good tones there. A different flavor than my other Marshall profiles -- kind of in-between the vintage ones ('68, '74 Lee Jackson, '78 ) and the newer DSL.
-
The '64 Vibroverb I profiled has the single 15" speaker, ala Stevie Ray Vaughan. The '63 had the dual 10" speakers. I can get one of those as well. Would be fun to hear the difference.
-
Hey Guys. I've got 5 new amps profiled and just need to put demos together for them.
'59 Fender Twin
'59 Fender Harvard
'60 Fender Champ
'64 Fender Vibroverb
'87 Marshall Silver JubileeI'll work to get these out soon!

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but topjimi.com has a '74 Lee Jackson modded Marshall with KT-88's. The KT-88's add brightness compared to the stock 6550's.

Awesome! Glad to hear it.
