what frfr are you using? Can I just buy a used passive 10 or 12" pa cab? Can get those pretty cheap or does it have to be something special? I see a lot about this on here but most are talking about powered and I don't need that. thanks for the input

I have the KPA Power Head and run it straight into a Marshall 2x12 (V30 and Gh12) love very happy Question is Guitar cab vs FRFR ? Very curious if I should buy a FRFR too? Looking for opinions on both. See a lot about different FRFR cabs but not much from people using guitar cabs. Thanks for any time on this.

yea I agree I like that they keep it simple. hey I'm in NJ which sucks Italy must be fantastic? My moms family is from Italy (last name is tuscano) no family there now, that I know of. Sorry to get off the subject. thanks for the time, all the best.

yea I have the wah on auto engage but it still takes up a slot that could be used for something else. why take up a slot? Again with the Geq it takes up a slot when they could just add the eq to the effect right? I don't know maybe it's me and I don't get it? Thanks for the input

if you are maxing out the rig volume you could be clipping the output? I was doing that and had to turn down all my rig volumes. are your input and output led's turning red?

I have the power head and love it but, if I needed stereo I would have opted for the non powered head. I guess if you don't need stereo all the time the powered kemper makes sense. You have everything in one package (that's why I bought it) when you need stereo just bring the power amp and run the power head that way.

I like to have eq adjustments on all stomps even if the original doesn't have them. I hate wasting an eq slot to adjust a stomp that only has Gain and volume. Also, it would be nice if the wah pedal could be attached to the pedal and no slot needed, just activate with the pedal. I have it on all my patches and have to waste a slot on it and a button on my foot-switch that I could use for something else. One more thing, I love my KPA thanks

I sold my bogner ecstasy 101b to get the power head and love it. I miss having that cool looking xtc but the sounds are there at all different volumes. I use a 2x12 open back marshall cab. I think a guitar cab sounds better, better meaning more like the real thing IMHO only compared to an old JBL pa cab. guitar cab sounded real jbl was less appealing to me, over hyped highs, to refined, not good for me. just my opinion

I have the power head right into my marshall 2x12 cab and love the sound. Hows it sound to you?

exactly what are you looking for? What kind of OD sound can't you get with the Profiler?
thanks

I like an overdrive with an EQ. I like the TS model but I would love it with a bass knob. I guess if they could add some more tweaks to the pedals that are there would be nice. I guess the EQ block is the way to go. I am still very happy with my Kemper and everyday I like it more. Thanks for the time on this -
Hey Jamme,
have you considered using EQ blocks? Try experiment with putting then before and after the distortion, and/or before and after the amp block. The versatility you get (being able to sculpture your tone before and after new harmonics are generated) is terrific!HTH
Yea I noticed the eq blocks on other models and they work great I'll have to try that I'm just not that comfortable with EQ stuff but I can see and hear that it works great. Thanks -
I like to get more overdrive pedals, with more controls. like treble, bass, mids. are these available to download?
