switch support on the remote, cannot be that hard...

My rig. CLR on the floor and in the corner is not optimal, but this is our living room and it was the only option (wife ), still sounds amazing.
@CK: if switches would start working on the Remote I could get rid of that ugly second cable going to the back of the Profiler
-
Any updates on when switches will start working when connected to the remote?
-
Switches are currently not supported on the remote inputs, they have to be connected to the Kpa inputs 1 or 2. It is supposed to work in future firmware release.

Any news on this working via foot pedal yet?
I've just bought one of these myself and don't want to have to run a separate cable just to use the momentary switch to the back of the kemper.. AND the TRS to the foot pedal.. Gets messy
I have been waiting for two months now. It is a promised feature in the manual:
>The Remote offers four TRS-sockets named “PEDAL 3” to “PEDAL 6” to connect expression pedals. If you should
>happen to require more switches, you can connect momentary mono and stereo switches to these sockets, too.So I am sure it will be there at some point, it just does not seem to be a high priority at Kemper.

LOL I also pulled out one of the wires when i replaced the power section on my clr
It has been working flawless since then, but i am still keeping my fingers crossed when i turn it on -
I think it would be cool if every performance slot could have an alternate sub-set of some of the amp/tone stack settings, i.e., amp and cab would be the same for these A/B sets, but the settings for for drive, compression, tone, volume, and may some others could be different.
Pressing the performance button on an already selected performance slot would then toggle between these A/B settings.
A nice side effect of this would be that stomp/volume/wha settings would not change when you toggle between A/B as they do when you switch between performances.
I bet this would free up a lot of stomp and performance slots in current rigs and it is probably not that hard to implement in the KPA FW.
FWIW BOSS GT100 has something like this, they even allowed different amps on A/B, but I think that would not be necessary.

remote switches are not yet supported in 3.0 final . kemper support told me it will work in a future FW version, but for the time being you will have connect the switch to the KPA...

Other than the issue i'm having, i'm really happy with the speaker. Just want to get it resolved.
It is kind of tricky getting in touch with them though.
I agree 100%. mine was completly dead a while ago and it took several weeks to get in touch. the replacement was quick.
I love my clr, i hope that this will never happen again.
Good luck with getting yours fixed! -
Yes, the trs cable will work on the remote but the mono cable for the switch will have to go to the kpa. Kemper support says switches will be supported in future firmware
-
This does not seem to be fixed in the final

Got a reply from Kemper: Switches on the Remote are not supported in the Beta, but they will be in the final release.

I have used this pedal for half a year and it works for me. In fact, if I connect the Mission mono switch jack to the KPA's Pedal 1/2 it still works, it just does not work on the Remote because I cannot select a Stomp A switch on any of the Pedals (4-6). So right now the Kemper Remote is a "two cable solution" for me ...
I hope this is a software problem, I will open a ticket.

Has anyone been able too get the Mission Engineering EP1-KP switch to work with the Remote?
I have connected the a TRS cable to Pedal 5 (Volume/Wha) and a Mono Cable to Pedal 6 (switch).
Volume/Wah works as expected, but I cannot select/use the a switch on Pedal 6, it only shows "connected" but I can only select one of (off, Volume, Monitor Volume, Wah, Pitch), i.e., it does not allow me to select "Stomp A on/off" which is my Wha effect.
The Pedal 1/2 inputs on the KPA seem to recognize the mono cable switch correctly, so I was expecting that the Remote would behave the same.

I hope Fw 2.7.4 has Remote support....

+ 1 for Germany. Should be here tomorrow . A week earlier than expected !

Wah switching or pitch shifter switching in and out does not work well, because the pedal has to be reset with a full sweep more often than not. I have documented my experience in another thread. This is not a fault of the Mission Control pedal and I'm sure if you use that toe switch for another effect, it will not demonstrate the same behaviour.
My Mission has the same problem, I did not notice this before because I mostly use the Wah and Volume more or less only to get the tuner. I guess this is really a KPA software issue, I think Kemper could easily fix this with a new "Mission Wah/Volume" mode where the volume becomes active @ 100% when you switch off the Wah,

Ich hätte ca. Anfang März auch ein FCB anzubieten. 1 Jahr alt, reines Wohnzimmergerät , OVP, 2 x 3m Midi-Kabel, Uno4Kemper (installiert) und original ROM.

I got the replacement power section, a couple of screws and four plugs. Now it is working again, yeah !!!
After almost 2 months I kinda got used to my old Mesa Studio .22 Poweramp/cab, some profiles where not that bad (with KPA CAB sim off), but the CLR is so much better, I just hope this will never happen again.
