You gotta love Paul Gilbert. In an industry where people take themselves too seriously, Paul is a breath of fresh air.

Paul is a real great person and a fantastic guitar player!!

    Some questions
Do you have favorite profiles that you use with the DX10? I use some M.Britt profiles that sound quite good. Profiles by Pete Turley, which have sounded well with a guitar box, Sounds full of treble with the Yamaha.

Or is there, according to your experience, an optimal amp / (virtual) box combination for the Yamaha?

    Hello Kemper friends!

I've been playing guitar for more than 30 years, and I've only used tube amplifiers (Boogie Mark III, Marshall JCM 800, Fender Vibrolux and Framus Mellow Yelllow). Digital amplifiers simply had not produced a good playing feeling!

The Kemper is different. Total tube feeling. I am fully thrilled! Only with the clean sound I still lack a bit of the punch!
The advantages of the KPA, however outweigh this small disadvantage!!
Maybe one of you has a tip for a crisp clean amplifier profile.

First I used the Kemper with a Velocity 300 power amplifier and a 1x12 "Egnater Rebel guitar box, which sounded very good.
On Saturday we played in a local Music Club. I used the Yamaha DX10 live for the first time and I was excited.

Most of the profiles have sounded very authentic. Some profiles I had to tweak a little!

On the photos you can see the KPA, my Music Man Silhoette and my PRS Custom SE 30th Anniversary guitar and my board with a MXR Talkbox, a Line 6 Relay 10, the Kemper Remote and the Yamaha DX10 in wedge position!

Thanks to Ingolf for the good tips about the Yamaha DX10!

    Hallo valderas,

    Piet

A very good idea endoverend! The same happened to me.

Hi Cili. I can also hear no difference. But the amp settings are all very high gain settings. The dynamic range in high gain sounds is very low. So it would be very interesting to compare clean amp settings or crunch settings to hear if there are any significant differences between the Kemper and a Real Amp (sorry for my bad english)

I use two Egnater 1x12 Cabs with a special Egnater Celestion Elite 80 speaker.
Bruce Egnater told me that the Egnater Elite 80 is a Celestion Classic Lead 80 that is private labeled for Egnater.
About this Cab Michael Britt´s profiles sounds simply great!
I use the Kemper with a Rocktron Velocity 300 (bridged mode).

    Hi, I am new here
I bought the Kemper Head about 4 weeks ago, and use it together with a Rocktron Velocity 300 power amp (mono in bridged mode on the monitor out of the Kemper amp, CABs disabled), and a 1x12 Egnater box. I've been playing for 30 years, various tube amps. Now I play the Kemper and use exclusively the MBritt profiles Vintage, Modern and Pack 3. I am thrilled!
Here is a list of the amps with photos. Perhaps the list for one or the other is helpful. ;)
