...or maybe allowing Rig Manager to communicate with more than one Profiler at a time, using MIDI Thru...?
Does Rig Manager use MIDI? This seem like it is intended to control the Kemper’s functions, not the profiles.

I really doubt you will be able to do that unless you use a signal spliter, one mono to two mono. I have one of those, once I get around to it I'll try and report back The one I have is nothing fancy just a short cable 1/4 male to 2x 1/4 female for less than ten dollars made by Hosa.
That would only give you the mono signal two times. You could still make it a stereo signal if you use stereo effects after the Kemper, but the Kemper itself would still be mono.
I didn’t. I just figured out how to make a feature request...
+1 for more fuzz options, especially modeling the cleanup via volume knob and touch. I get good results using the fuzz stomp with a slightly overdriven amp profile, just as I would use a fuzz box with an overdriven amp or into a mild OD stomp-box.
In this case, let him give you an all but guitar signal, feed it in the AUX of the KPA and use the KPA's headphone out for your personal monitoring.
Exactly!
This lets you EQ the sound you hear in your monitors and you can even apply Space just to your own mix.
The momentary function will be great for me when it applies to external switches and the Tuner and Looper switches. I’d love an option to make the Hold and Freeze functions permanently momentary (heh.. Pun intended). I’d need that more than the “long hold to momentary”-function.
That's a really good demo! Thanks!
+1.
This is how I do it on my Timeline.
Bumping this. Both for the status lights and having to press the footswitches twice to engange the effect.
I played with it for a while today. Same experience as when I tested the hardware a year ago: I really wanted to like it, but ended up buying a Kemper. I'll keep my Bias FX for now, still hoping for a Kemper Native.
This is really annoying. Hope it's fixed soon.
I've been using Shure SE535s for six years with great results. It's not the Aviom.
That is how I do it. If you want to get really into it, try using more mics and blend them. Just be careful that your mics are in phase. I use a blend of a ribbon and a sm57 into 1073 pres.
+1 on Klon. Best overdrive ever.
Also, why do I have to press the Looper button twice to turn the delay on for the first time on a preset? Bug?
It is not a LED.
Ok. What is it? It looks very similar to the other status lights, that's why I thought it was a LED.
Next to the Kemper logo on the remote?
Exactly!
I apologize if this has been covered before, but I've searched the manual trying to find out what the little LED by Pedal 3 is for. Does anyone know?
Display MoreWill there be the smear parameter or others such as chorus/grit etc included in the final FM 5.0 release of the Quad and Rhythm Delays?
I've been trying to replicate the Lexicon PCM70's "Circular Delays" preset used by Steve Lukather and some others such as Dave Gilmour and succeeded previously linking two delays in series (one mono into one ping pong) using firmware 4.0 however a key component that was missing from this was the smear/diffusion function.
I've been able to successfully recreate the Circular Delays preset using one delay slot with the Rhythm Delay (I'm almost certain this is the only delay algorithm that can do this preset in the Kemper) but sadly there is no smear option in this delay, or the quad delay and that would complete the replication perfect.
I know these are quite complex delays and maybe that's the reason all the options aren't included, but will these options be implemented in the final release?
I know the Lexicon PCM 70 can do up to 6 tap delay with diffusion/smear and that unit is from the late 80's so I'm confident the Kemper should be able to manage 4 parallel delays/4 taps quite easy considering the processing that it must take to produce some of these new delays.
Yes, please!
Nevermind, I figured it out.
