I believe just about every guitar player on the planet has used something he's created.
True.
Rest in peace.

I wonder if "dirty power" or "spikes/surges" is the culprit? Doubtful, but hey, never know?
That's what I was also thinking. Or any other "local" condition that is affecting the device.

Why was the step by step guide removed by mod? Do they have something against me or something? haha
It is obvious that it is an info that Kemper Support doesn't want to be used randomly, but only when they recommend it.
Oh, and don't think than anyone has something against you. And you don't have bad luck. Keep working on that.

Come on guys...
Don't you know, as guitar players, that one of the things that makes us pay more for a tool, like a guitar, is just the way it looks?
Let me know if Dunlop makes a version of their pedal in Kemper green. Because they don't. Mission took the opportunity, as they do with a lot of their pedals, to make an "especial edition" with the perfect color match to the Kemper Remote and Head. And that comes at a premium price. Not because of the manufacturing or other measurable things.
I think it makes sense.

It's really my typical luck.. I've already reached out to support, I bet Peter from support will answer me tomorrow..
Don't mean to be rude keem85 but to install a beta version and not even be aware of it is not bad luck. It doesn't happen by itself.
I completely understand your excitement with your new and awesome piece of gear. Everyone here has been there.
But maybe you have to calm a bit, stop pushing buttons like crazy and read before you make any move.
Honestly, I am saying this to help you.

Just download it from the downloads section and istall it instead of leaving Rig Manager to do it.

Frank, everything runs faster on a MAC. I used to run ProTools on my Windows 7 PC, took nearly 10 minutes to open. On my now 4 year old MAC - about 10 seconds! RM is no different. I wouldn't personally use a laptop either.
prsgary I don´t think that Frank will be able to read you since he is banned from the forum...

I just looked it up...looks like this has been out since 2013?!? Long time without a new one...
2011 actually.
But it's not a Fractal product.
Also updates are free.
Buy one. You will not regret it.

Recently HW from Tone Junkies talked about an amp manufacturer that was not OK with profiling and that wrote to him in bad manners to take down his profiles of his amps. I guess it must have been Friedman then.
My thoughts are exactly what has been said. What should think Marshall about Friedman then?

In my opinion, new reverbs and specially the natural reverb remains unusable without the new ranking tool included in the OS6.
What do you mean?

My first Kemper was a Rack non powered version that I got at a very good price. I then needed a power amp but couldn't afford one off those expensive ones. So I went the cheapest way while I saved some money. I bought a super affordable Harley Benton GPA-400.
https://m.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_gpa_400.htm
It was used and I paid 100€ for it. And you know what? It sounded killer. Didn't need to go for the expensive one in the end.
I now have a powered head because it's more convenient to have everything in one piece. But my advice would be to try for yourself and don't believe everything you read in forums. They're just opinions and your's might be different.

With the slot active just turn the TYPE knob back (countercklockwise) until you reach EMPTY.

After installing the latest OS (5.7.0.14099B) the lock button does not work properly for the REV block. It does not change to lit or unlit, when I push it. It is, in fact, locking and unlocking the reverb, but not showing it.
If I exit out of the reverb block, and hold the lock key, I can confirm that the Kemper is locking the reverb. It just isn't showing properly, when doing so.
Anyone else having this issue?
Yes I do. Also doing the same in the DELAY module the Lock button does change to lit but it is a half lit, not completely like all the other modules.

I found a bug in the Spring Reverb.
If its assign to slot C and a studio eq/ graphic eq or Pure booster assign to slot B as a clean pre amp boost.
If the Slot C /Spring rev is off the the slot B works normal as a boost, but as soon as Slot C/Spring Rev is turned the volume drops even with rev mix set to 0%.
If Natural rev is assign to slot C everything works ok.
Yes, it has been reported.
It actually happens in every module, before or after the stack. Always with the Spring Reverb whenever there is another effect in front of it that has any volume control. This volume boost only affects the WET part of the signal going through the Spring Reverb.

I understand and use them all the time. Every time I do I think "I wish this was a fader rather than trying to imitate a knob that's optimised for fingers". ?
It is true that knobs work fine with fingers. But that is not their only plus. Faders take a lot more space, whether it be in the digital world or in real world.
I think it's a very good idea to have a visual representation of a knob for each parameter, with a written value below it that you can just write or even change with arrows, but give the option (maybe in visualization preferences) to have a fader appear over the knob whenever you click on it. Best of both worlds.
