I'm thinking warranty void and a forum ban if you try it.

I wonder if the ability for the device to be able to profile rather than just play profiles has a legal/copyright angle to it.

Wait - the rotary speed is affected by the tap tempo? I had no idea. I don't touch tap tempo.
-
You can switch between fast and slow with a footswitch. I use the Tap button on my remote for that. I'd hate for this to change as this is the way I like using a rotary.
Variable speed with an expression pedal is impossible and not something they're considering. I suspect it would require a whole rewrite of that effect.

Are you talking live or studio and what sort of music?
Normally when I hear the term EQ multiple times in quick succession it turns out we're talking about distorted tones and metal. There are a lot of guys here that can help you get that going.
I just use an EQ in the X slot to tweak any frequencies that aren't right. Usually low and high cut.
If the actual tone isn't right I'll try different guitars (or pickup settings) or try a different cab before sculpting with an EQ.

He really is one of my heroes. I sat down and wore out my copy of BIA on vinyl learning the songs. At the time I thought he played Strat style guitars for everything, so I used to be "how does he get it to sound so fat, warm, and slinky?" when playing along on my Strat.

I agree about the compressor. The built in one gives a lot away compared to a Bogner Lyndhurst (for example). That and the distortion stomps are not at the level of the pedals they emulate, but they're close.
I just run a tiny pedalboard. I also use Buzz Feiten tuning, so I need a separate tuner as well anyway.

1) I'd love to be able to tweak my sounds from playing position, by grabbing my mouse with my right hand like I do with all of my PC based music software. Not having to lean forward or turn to the side.
2) I keep my workstation clean, but I can't stick the KPA under the desk or out of the way because 1)

I'd love to be able to download a few rigs to a little standalone Kemper pedal for situations when there's no time or space to set up my whole KPA rig. Plus that provides a backup without having to buy a second KPA.
At the moment the Helix pedal is the best option, but the Fractal looks like it'll be great too.

Line 6 and Fractal are doing this category right. Those look like they'll be cool when they're released.

I use performance mode to switch between different sounds. Easy, flexible, and sounds amazing.
If you can't live without morphing you can use a combination of stomp boxes to get a different sound on the toe- down position.

If it's just speaker cable you shouldn't have to worry about shielding. The size of the cable is the thing. I use the thickest cable I can for any long unpowered speaker runs. I'm sure there's a calculation but I just use the ridiculously thick stuff.

My home town! Great to hear you're enjoying the KPA.

I haven't had a single issue in any way since I installed the update. Well done development team!

Thanks for that! Will check with my local retailer to see if they've got stock.

Any update on an estimated timeframe for availability?

Was looking for a programmable EQ pedal and Google keeps showing me the Source Audio unit. Seems really well thought out and what I'm after. Anyone have any experience with this or the company?
-
Anyone that's used the infamous AC20 profile has experienced how amazing an EQ in front of an amp can be. It would be pretty awesome if I could set an input EQ per rig to keep my Stomp slots free for other stuff.
Maybe chuck the (future, hopefully) Output low/high cut filters in there as well.

My favourite is the M Britt - 65 ACE30 pack. I use at least 2 of those every time I play.
